Introduction: l graduated with honors from the University of the Arts with a bachelors degree in Vocal Performance. I have experience performing in Opera, Musical Theatre, and Cabaret.
I love working with students to help them find their true singing voice. To me, the whole point is to begin with a strong foundation that supports great singing. That way, we begin to get to the core of what good singing is, and strengthen that in the student’s own voice. The best part is when a student has an “aha” moment. That’s where they discover something from the technique they didn’t realize before, and can incorporate something new into their singing.

Lisa os awesome! I learned more in three lessons with her than I did in an entire year of lessons I had a while back with a different teacher. She diagnosed what I needed to work on extremely quickly and taught me concrete, duplicable exercises that I could practice on my own time. Rather than tell me what I should be doing, she utilized a variety of different postures that allowed me to tangibly feel the difference between supported and unsupported breath. I understood the mechanics on a physical level and not just a heady, intellectual level. By the end of our third session, I didn't even feel like I was doing anything-- the notes were just coming out easefully. Cannot recommend Lisa enough!

Lisa is an incredibly skillful, caring, and insightful mentor and teacher and has been the key for helping me unlock and discover the full potential of my voice.
When we first started working together I had little to no formal training, but from our very first lesson she has been helping guide and build my technique into a strong foundation that's given me fresh and growing confidence in my talent and ability.
Her knack for analyzing and understanding my voice and catering our lessons accordingly is one of the major reasons it's grown and progressed as quickly as it has and continues to do so.

I am able to fully open my voice to explore places I have never known existed within me, through Lisa’s potent guidance and nurturing presence. With the techniques she shares I am accessing greater breath and power in my voice, and a grounded confidence to express more. Her vocal gifts are a great inspiration, and I am in awe when I experience Lisa singing. I love to sing... it’s an absolute joy and an honor to be cultivating my voice with Lisa.
