Introduction: I take a very different approach when helping my clients get results. I had planned to only try this out a couple times thinking she really couldn't help but I promised my family I would give it a try. It has now been a year and I see her weekly and I have been sober for 8 months. Slowly but surely I am healing and finding my way where I once thought that wasn't possible.

I found her to be creative in her approach which was helpful seeing as though so far I wasn't getting anywhere with"typical" therapy. I have only seen her a handful of times so far but would say it's been a good experience and I would recommend her.

My husband and I were in a very unhealthy place in our relationship and neither of us were sure how or even if we wanted to get through it. However because of our 2 year old son we thought it best to seek help. Shanna was patient as we flip flopped continually on staying and ending our marriage. Ultimately we ended the marriage but with the help and guidance we received we were able to do it with love and respect for one another. We are great friends and great co parents to our now 4 year old son. These sessions really changed how we viewed one another and allowed us to heal making the decision to end our marriage a easier and less painful choice.

First time seeking counseling. This was different from what I had imagined it would but in a good way. It was really easy to open up to her and share. She really engages and is non judgmental. I like her open book policy so I could ask questions to. I found the tools beneficial she offered and though easy to understand it did take the repeated steps to really drive it home for me and make a positive change. Now I just meet monthly and I love where my life is.

I want to be able to help as many people as possible therefore I charge a very reasonable rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important part for me is to get to know a few key details about my client and not just the problems they are suffering with. Having a better understanding of them helps me to create the proper approach to helping them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience starts with my own issues and working through them still to this day by using techniques and cognitive behavioral skills. Then I am also a licensed counselor, hypnotherapist and life enthusiast.
