Phynyx Physical Phytness needs to know how to care about customers goals. My experience with them was terrible. The beginning was very good they keep pushing me to achieve my goal. The bad side is Andi, my trainer canceled the projects but I already paid for them. How a good trainer can act like that? a customer paid you for a work you didn't finished the work and you said the project is done without a partial refund. Khokou, you and I both know how unjustified this review is. But, just so everyone out there in social media land can assess for themselves, I will rehash it for you. You paid $199 for our "Kick Your Own Butt" Challenge that comprised 90 consecutive days for group training sessions. You were not able to do the group training times and we compromised by offering you a substitution of personal training sessions instead without any additional charge. But, the problem is that you stopped coming. You text me once to say you were skipping training because wanting to watch the World Cup about ten minutes before your scheduled session. Then you did a no call no show for the next three sessions with no communication at all while we still showed up and waited for you. With no response or communication after three no call no show appointments, we took your training time off the schedule. Keep in mind this is after months of already training you, so there wouldn't have been a refund as you used the initial services. You received 20 personal training sessions at one hour each valued at $33 each for $199 and still feel as if you have been cheated? Usually I would want to apologize for an inconvenience or miscommunication or something. But, in this case, there does not appear to be any of that in play. Best wishes on your future endeavors.
I think my trainer, Andrea, is great. She challenges me! I am on a serious weight loss journey for sake of just being healthy. It's a clean facility. Friendly atmosphere! Andrea just cares. So far, Phynyx Physical Phytness has been a wonderful experience! I am able to exercise safely and they are willing to accommodate me when I need it. I enjoy exercise much more than I have in the past few years, and I am learning skills that I can eventually use on my own. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We have different rates that are for on-site vs. off-site training. Usually the on-site is a little bit more cost-effective because we don't have to travel to you or gather equipment, everything is right there. Our Thumbtack clients often get the on-site rate regardless as part of the discount for being found through this service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When working with new customers, it is important that we figure out what goals are being held as most important by the customer and we need to figure out a baseline for where we're starting because each person will be starting at a slightly different place. So, we will really get a chance to know the customer and what their goals are before moving forward and then get an idea of what their current body health is before proceeding. From there, we will develop a plan of action that both the trainer and the client understand; there's no mystery here. Everyone is privy to what it will take to meet the goal and everyone knows what will be required as well as what the expectations are to get there. It is a detailed plan of action with specific measurable time-bound goals that are broken into small chunks that are easily attainable and realistic.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have completed my BSBA at Creighton University in Omaha as well as an MBA at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have had a lot of Hands-On industry experience through a number of Fitness preparations and shows and working with clients and doing management at a local gym.
