Celtic Rose Flute

Introduction: Studio lessons are taught in duet style which encourages independent ‘voice’ development. Group lessons of 2-4 students are possible to facilitate chamber ensemble experience and increased performance confidence. Lesson instruction is available for silver flute, recorder and piccolo. Instruction is offered with a Classical music foundation that includes music theory and history content. Amanda Kanter is also a skilled Irish flutist and often includes traditional music within lesson design. Students are encouraged to become literate in reading music notation. Performance fluency is supported by ear training, daily practice schedules and ensemble opportunities with students of similar playing level. Annual recitals are presented each spring.
