    Don't let Pete becomes your One That Got Away!!!
    Pete is a great leader material, he doesn't train you to be just fit, but he give you a much stronger perception of yourself and your work out. He does a lot for his customer that most of his customer doesn't take him as a coach anymore, but takes him as a closed friends. I am alone on my own in LA, 8000 miles away from home (I'm from Hong Kong) and within a short period of time, he becomes like a family member of mine in LA. Whenever I have doubts about my diet, my healthy, and my well being, he's my go to guy!! He doesn't just take you as a costumer who gives him business, but he cares for you like you are a premium member of his team. His workout team is very acception and friendly as well, and they are all very fit!! But since I have joined the group work out, I've never once felt neglected or looked down to because my level doesn't match up. Yet, all of them are very welcoming and encouraging to see you get better everyday!!! You can't miss out Pete if you're looking for a trainer, and if you hire Pete, you need to come to the group and let'a work out!!! I never write any review, nor for my favorite products or favorite co-workers or favorite artist. Pete earns this review, so you should know how good he is!!!

    I have had trainers off and on for the majority of time that I have been a working professional and without question Pete is the BEST trainer that I have ever had. He is kind, patient, understanding, hilarious, motivating, encouraging and beyond empathetic at every stage of my development. Plus, I am amazed at not only what my body looks like but I am amazed at what I have seen I am capable of doing as a result of working with him. I came to him after significant weight gain and frankly although I knew I needed to get back in the saddle I was discouraged, had lost faith in myself and frankly had given up. Pete has raised the bar for me in terms of competence needed in a great trainer - he is SO knowledgeable and informed that I have learned more about the mechanics of my eating, body and recovery as a result. I still get nervous about workouts ahead of time yet those nerves are far outweighed by my sense of accomplishment when we are done. I am incredibly grateful that I have the opportunity to work out with someone I can now trust as an athletic expert - I can reach my goals with his support and it is such a great feeling to know that. If he has an opportunity to train you, you should grab the chance.

    Been working with Pete one-one-on after going to his boot camps for a couple of months. His workouts are super intense, but that's a great thing. And what's even better is that Pete does the workouts with his crew. He's not just barking orders, he's involved both physically and emotionally. He has this naturally nurturing instinct that keeps everyone engaged and pumped until the final burpee. When he's working with you one-on-one, he is again not just telling you what to do and watching from a distance...he is in the mix and working out with you every step of the way. His knowledge of nutrition and eating healthy is also another reason I go to him. He won't let me eat bad. He knows what edible and what's garbage. He wrote me up a nutritional plan that is serving me very well. He also never repeats any of his routines. Each workout is special and unique. Pete is unique. Love this guy.

    I have been training with Pete and Sabertooth for the last year and a half. As an active person who loves fitness but dislikes the gym, these workouts are seriously the best I've found anywhere! Pete is a fantastic coach who always has something fresh planned for the group, keeping it interesting but consistently pushing toward better performance. One thing I particularly like about Pete's approach is that while we are performing at a very high level, he always has a great attitude that welcomes participants of all levels and supports everyone with genuine positive reinforcement. This is really refreshing compared to some of the classes and trainers I've encountered who can be really clique-y and exclusive. Simply put, Sabertooth is one of the best fitness groups in the LA-area and Pete is such an amazing trainer that I started working with him 1-on-1! Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I conduct an injury, background, skills, and goals assessment with all clients prior to getting them moving. Following that, we do a baseline workout to get a sense of what the client can perform and the level of effort that the client is capable of. I also work up an individualized nutrition plan, when necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a degree in Exercise and Sports Physiology. I have trained 100s of people, held 100s of boot camps, and even more private client sessions. I was a scientist before I became an athlete, so I come to this with a research-minded background.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge between $65 and $80/session (one hour) depending upon the drive time. Boot camps and couples sessions run a little more.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
About 7 years ago, a production company wanted to use me for pilot, and they wanted a "ripped, military look." I did a little (lot) of research to created a training program and nutrition program to gain muscle and tone while losing fat. Once I figured it out, I bailed on my corporate job to help others reach their potential through fitness and nutrition.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Seniors, special needs clients, professional athletes, FBI agents, doctors, lawyers, actors, weight-loss seekers, diabetics, and regular Joes and Janes. I work with large groups, small groups, couples, and one-on-one. All ages....I've gotten stellar results from clients 8-68.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My recent projects are a pair of women...bride to be and mother of the groom. I have already gotten each down 4 dress sizes in 3 months, and the work continues. The other is a young man with Type 1 Diabetes who is dramatically overweight. We are steadily taking off one pound a week with a careful diet and moderate exercise.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone that is willing to learn what you really want and consistently delivers results that mirrors your needs and expectations.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do you have personal experience rehabbing injuries and losing weight? I dropped about 40 pounds using the fitness and nutrition programs that I employ today. If I can do it, you can do it.
