Introduction: I offer in-home personal training to clients of all ages and fitness levels. I have experience working with many types of injuries. You can be confident that I will give you the most effective plan that targets your needs but protects you from injury and burnout. I love being a personal fitness coach because I get to help people reach their goals and change their lifestyles for good! My services are a great supplement for those who would rather have the gym come to them and for those looking to increase their strength, endurance, lean muscle and to decrease body fat. I am a certified personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise, CPR certified, and a group fitness instructor specializing in boot camp-style workouts. I offer small group training as well as 1:1 training, so feel free to let me know if you have any friends that would like to join in! I also offer a unique "remote" service which includes written workout plans and email & social media support for you throughout your journey. I can honestly say that my mind and body has been transformed since starting Boot Camp with Shannon. I’ve always considered myself a generally athletic and fit person but seeing the progress I’ve made and strength I’ve gained is incredible (now I use 12 or 15 pound weights)! Shannon is not only an effective and attentive trainer, she’s kind, supportive, and encouraging. She motivates without being negative and can push you to one more rep or to use higher weights easily – and you’ll want to work harder in her classes. Shannon helps build a bond in a class, too, and I find myself looking forward to them, knowing I’ll see familiar faces and have a great time during the workout. Staying active and building on the gains I’ve made personally is exciting because Shannon’s empowered me to keep going and have fun doing it.

Shannon is a highly-skilled motivator. For me, one of her biggest strengths is her ability to recognize my performance level. She is very cognizant of how far I can perform, and am even more skilled at knowing when it is time for me to push harder. Although we perform the same routines, she customizes the modification according to my ability and even my body’s condition (I am a 35 yr. old with a have a bad knee and bad lower back). To summarize, I was 194lbs when I joined her boot camp. Three seasons later, I weigh in at a considerably fit 176 lbs! I feel great, and I look great thanks to Shannon. I am sad that she is relocating because I trust her boot camp to the highest degree. However, I am excited for the Atlanta area for receiving what I consider the best boot camp instructor and personal trainer. You rock Shannon!

"Shannon is a truly excellent trainer. She is the perfect combination of tough and warm.As a manager time for exercise becomes more and more challenging. When I joined "Boot camp with Shannon" I was the oldest in her class. Her easy going, friendly personality created a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. I looked forward to her classes. Shannon is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. She makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! She also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. Because of her efforts, I am stronger and more flexible, I have better balance and most importantly, working out has become fun. I started working out with Shannon when I was in a rut: unhappy with my eating habits and physical appearance. Within a matter of weeks I began seeing immediate results from her fun blend of high intensity, fat burning, unique workouts I had never experienced training at a gym. When I struggled with certain excersises, she modified the intensity to fit my abilities and always made me feel like a winner after each session. 110% recommend Shannon to anyone looking for someone they can trust to help turn their life around and get into amazing shape!

Shannon is an excellent motivator and pushed me to do succeed with her high intensity workouts. I struggle a great deal with agility exercises, but Shannon was able to work with my ankle injuries to push through the sessions with the rest of the group. She will work you hard, but get you to achieve your goals despite your setbacks!
