Introduction: There is a big difference between loving to travel and planning travel. I have always loved to travel but I didnt realize my gift for planning travel until several years after graduating college. The single most important event that made me transition from chemist to travel counselor, was working with a travel agent for my own honeymoon. The travel agent I worked with wasnt interested in getting to know me or planning the perfect trip for me, she was just interested in booking me a certain resort chain because it worked in her favor. The experience was awful and I never want another bride to feel as frustrated and stressed as I did. Thats why my niche is romance travel, planning your honeymoon and destination weddings should be stress-free and fun! I take the time to get to know my clients, so that their ideas become a beautiful reality.
I would be lying if I said I didnt have the greatest job in the world. From bridal shows, to initial meetings with clients, the satisfaction of matching a couple with the perfect resort or cruise and hearing from my couples upon their return home
.I love it all. If I had to choose though, it would be the excitement in the calls and emails that I get from my brides I love feeling like I have truly made wishes come true!
