I am a “mature” woman with some weight and joint issues. I have enjoyed the variety found in small workout sessions with men and women of varying ages and body types. One-on-one training is also available. Eva, a former orthopedic nurse, understands body mechanics, makes sure you are using proper form, and won’t let you hurt yourself. She knows what seems to me like an infinite number of ways to achieve a goal; her routines are very flexible and geared specifically for each client. No cookie-cutter workouts here! The facility is well-outfitted with weights and machines, which provide a total workout. I am SO satisfied with Shifting Years!
BJ is well knowledgeable in creating custom training programs for individuals who want to get in shape. He is always friendly and will challenge you to dig deeper to reach your goals. I would highly recommend him for high Intensity training and would use him again.
I really like Burton Training for the short amount of time that I was training. Burton Training helped me with a lot especially eating right with the meal plan that I was given. Some may not believe it but the training that I was going to 3 days a week was better then going to the gym. Because I could go to the gym and workout for an hour and not feel in what areas where that I was working out, but after working out for 30mins with Burton Training I could actually feel in my stomach and legs the tightness cause I knew it was working.
I can't even begin to explain how helpful Caleb was for me during my prep for Alabama State Championships. He set out a 12 week prep for me that basically changed every week on how I was looking and how my body was reacting, no cookie cutter sheet here. Besides his knowledge on nutrition and training, he's just a good dude that loves to see others succeed. When I was mentally out of it he kept me focused and motivated. Highly recommend him for a show prep, just to get in better shape for the summer, or to lead a healthier lifestyle.

My sons had an AWESOME experience. The coach is very hands on and does an excellent job with demonstrating effective techniques to improve skills on all levels. The coach works well with his clients and makes sure that his client understands the game of basketball in general, the fundamentals of the game, what he/she is doing wrong, and what he/she needs to do to continue to improve. I loved the way he incorporated physical strength and conditioning into the session while continuing to explain how that plays a major role in how you perform as an all around basketball player. The thing I loved the most was after the session was over he asked my boys if they enjoyed it and if they got something from it. I appreciate that. That really spoke volumes and expressed to me that he is invested in what he's doing and wants to ensure that he is doing the very best he can to ensure he's offering his client's what they are paying for.
