What can I say.I started doing yoga at 59. I just turned 61. It has changed my life dramatically. I am stronger physically,and more so emotionally. Before attending Pell City Yoga, I had never been to a yoga class before and was a little apprehensive. Julia made it easy to start and learn the positions – she knows her stuff and is very patient. We offer weekly classes in Vinyasa flow, Asthanga, Kundalini yoga, and prenatal yoga. Classes are appropriate for beginner to advanced-level students. Her classes use a series of creatively modified sun salutations and balancing postures to build internal heat in preparation to finish class with deeper, longer-held yin-style postures.
