Latest Review: Before coming to Fred's studio, I had already been playing for 14+ years with private lessons. However, I hadn't had the opportunity to take lessons for a couple years and I missed the structure that came with piano lessons. Not only did I get the structure that I wanted with weekly piano lessons, but Fred has been able to help re-inspire me to love the instrument. I leave each weekly lesson excited about the music I'm supposed to play. He doesn't waste my time teaching me principles I already know, instead he opens points of discussion about what the composer might have intended and how to play with feeling and expression. There have been several times where the day of my lesson comes and I haven't practiced. I feel apprehensive and wished I'd canceled the lesson with a feigned excuse so I can go home and practice instead. I'm always glad I didn't cancel when I get to the lesson, though, because Fred will inevitably teach me something new and get me excited to try again the next week.

Latest Review: I was more than pleased with the vocal lessons that I received from my instructor, Krista Wendle. Before I even began my lessons, I talked to her by phone and got good "vibes" and answers to my questions. First, let me say that I am in my late 60's, and have never had voice instruction. Because I play and sing in a 60's type folk group, I wanted to raise the quality of my voice by as much as I could to add more to my bandmates. Although I was a bit apprehensive on that first lesson, that anxiety soon dissipated as we got into the exercises and instruction. Later Krista allowed and encouraged me to bring my guitar and material with which I am familiar. It was not just a series of scales and random exercises. Also she provided me a warm-up vocal exercise CD which I play before every performance and practice session. Krista was always prepared for my arrival, and gave me her undistracted attention for my full 45 minutes, (Previously I had a negative experience with an independent guitar instructor, not affiliated with Taylor Made, who took and made phone calls, had conversations with family members, and even tried to sell me musical material I didn't want. I felt very short-changed and only got about 40-45 minutes out of a lesson for which i had paid for one hour. I ended the lessons soon after I began) Krista is a true performing professional and really knows her business. For anyone who wants a patient, courteous and gifted vocal instructor, I highly recommend Ms. Wendle. She is TOPS!

Latest Review: She was perfect. A future star. She sent me a long list of what she could play. It had dozens of hits from many a genre. I chose 20 something and she played them beautifully. This was a party for my wife who just beat breast cancer. Dave & Marilee Cade

Latest Review: I recently needed a math tutor to help prepare me for a test to get into Graduate School. Finding Debbie was 'The Best' thing that happened to me! She was extremely flexible and professional and had such a peaceful/clear way of explaining problems to me. I had several 'light bulb' moments and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great math tutor!

Latest Review: I've been going to Mrs. Hentz for around eight months and only go once a week. She has already taught me all Major scales for Alto Saxophone and two Minor ones. She always helps me with school music, and with her help I've reached First Chair status. She always adjusts my homework to my schedule and she is extremely easy to get along with. Her lessons help keep my skills in check and I'm always learning new things. Mrs. Hentz (or Mrs.Susan as I call her) is absolutely the best music teacher EVER!

Latest Review: Jason is a patient woodwind player who has mastered Sax / Saxophone, clarinet and flute. He quickly assessed my son's skills and began a program that grew his skills in an achievable manner given the common conflicts of school and sports. Our son grew in skills and confidence during the 3 months we had Jason as a teacher. We would use him again and highly recommend him.
