Chef Ray was fantastic. He emailed within the hour after my submission to thumbtack. We had a rehearsal dinner for 70 at a location in Avondale. He listened to what I was looking for and then made suggestions to work with all the dietary needs we had. I was doing everything long distance from Texas and he made it as easy as it could be. He knew my budget and he did not encourage me to go beyond it and worked within my means. He ALWAYS answered his phone and communicated so well throughout the whole process. He arrived timely and had us ready to go with hot steaming food in plenty of time. That is all the logistics of things, the best part is the food was out of this world. We chose the roasted pork, garlic potatoes, green beans and house salad. The portions were very large and all night I continually had people asking who our caterer was and how delicious the food was. The meat was juicy with a wonderful sauce (so many times when catering for a large group the meat is dry), and their was an abundance so we were sure not to run out. If you are trying to make a decision, hands down Chef Ray is the way to go. He gets an A++++++++++ from this gal.

I had a Holiday Party and Chef Shaun Michael was fantastic..I am so glad I had his services for that evening...everyone had a grand time...I would certainly use Shaun again...and highly recommend him to any and everyone !!

Making Magic in the Kitchen does not disappoint! The food is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I love how I am able to plan in advance or request a last-minute cuisine for impromptu occasions. If looking for a meal or dessert that is DELISH, you have to indulge and allow the Making (of) Magic in (your) kitchen!

    I have had a unique experience in that I have worked with Underground Cooking Academy professionally when Chef Thyme Randall worked directly with our Instructors on a cooking demonstration, which was very successful. I have also been a guest at a few of Underground Cooking Academy's catering events and I can say that without fail the food has always been incredible and I have appreciated and celebrated Chef Thyme Randall's energy!

    OMG....where do I start? The chef was so professional. He worked closely with me to prepare an evening filled with perfect pairings of food and wine. The steaks were amazing, cooked to order and seasoned perfectly. If you hire this vendor you will not be disappointed.

    I have known Chef Detrick or "(DJ) for a long time. When he first cooked for me I knew he was destined for greatness. His food is awesome and his staff is friendly and professional. Everything I wanted they created and did so to our liking. I would most definitely hire him again! Thank you!

      I had an incredible experience with Chef Bryon and his staff at my wedding this past weekend. Not once did I have to look over my shoulder to make sure everything was being taken care of. The food was even better than at the tasting. I found the menu to be creative, attractive and very delicious. My guests were impressed and many asked for cards. The shooter desserts were incredibly clever. My husband loved having them on his very own table. I’ll use him again and again.
