When I contacted Mike, I was in a real bind. It had taken a real estate agent 3 ½ months to find a tenant and now the tenant was breaking the lease after only 3 months. I live out of state which made matters worse. I very apprehensively explained my situation to Mike, thinking who is going to want to take over in the middle of this mess. My previous manager put the tenants from "hell" both times in my rental. Needless to say they did not perform to contract, as well as, much damage to the property. A business associate recommended I give Dave a call. He is managing their rental. WOW !!! He has met and exceeded my expectations of a property manager. His professional wisdom and guidance assured me that my past experiences with a bad manager was NEVER going to be in our relationship. And true to his word he has delivered. His honesty, knowledge of the real estate world and wonderful handling of the tenants, has made his name the first one to roll off my tongue when anyone asks me about property managers. Dave is extremely prompt in answering my email, texts and phone calls. He is very courteous and is not without a idea or two in helping to figure out the best solution. We signed a contract with Nate to sell our house. Nate was amazing with his advise on what we needed to do before we put our house on the market. After we got done with the short list Nate put it on the market and the house sold in less than 24hrs. Nate priced the house perfectly and we received a generous offer so we accepted. Nate is a "Master" at real estate. If I ever sell my current home I will definitely use Nate and his team!

I have used the folks at Top Property Shop for a few purchases and a couple of sale transactions. I love the expertise and knowledge, I think they are very knowledgeable and well trained. What does a real estate agent do?

Real estate agents help their clients buy, sell, and rent commercial and residential properties. Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, real estate brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents. What do real estate agents charge?

Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn.
