Bobbi is great! I have been taking singing lessons from her for about 5 years, off and on. Started with a group intro class of 4 students where we were all totally scared, then I transitioned into private lessons where I found that I really might be able to sing after all! I sign up for 6 to 12 weeks a year usually...enough to move to the next level of confidence and technique. I'm obviously not that driven but sure like to have fun and get out of my comfort zone. This year a group of 4 signed up for her group singing class, which has been a blast learning to harmonize on the spot, get past another level of jitters and use the mics. Even did a recital together. Bobbi is gracious and encouraging - and yes she can sing!

Ron Ferlito is an outstanding voice instructor! He really got me singing within just a matter of a few lessons. I started with absolutely zero prior singing experience or knowledge. I really thought it would be just a waste of time to even try getting voice lessons. I've always thought my singing voice is so incredibly bad, there is no way that an instructor could do anything for me. HOW WRONG I WAS! I was lucky enough to be referred to Ron Ferlito for voice lessons. Ron Ferlito is an amazing voice teacher. He showed me the basics, and he has been showing me how to use my voice musically, just like a musical instrument. Ron Ferlito has a wealth of musical knowledge and experience and he knows how to explain it to a beginner in a way that makes sense and gets results. I highly recommend Ron Ferlito for voice lessons to anyone who is a beginner and curious to know whether they can actually sing. Ron Ferlito will get you singing! Ron Ferlito is also an amazing and gifted piano player and teacher. My wife is taking piano lessons from him and she has gone from zero knowledge of music to playing some simple Christmas songs in just a matter of a few weeks! How do you do it, Ron?! About me: I am a 40-year-old man who has played guitar for 20 years. I have always wanted to learn to sing too, but I never had any success on my own. I told Ron that I want to learn to sing well enough to play/sing at open-mic nights. Before I knew it, Ron had me singing at one of his recitals. What an awesome experience that was! Bottom line: if you want to learn how to sing or play piano, or both, regardless of whether you have some musical background or not, sign up for lessons with Ron Ferlito. He is very reasonably priced. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. Ron Ferlito is also a very friendly guy who is easy to get along with. You never feel embarrassed when you make a mistake around Ron. His attitude is always supportive and encouraging. I just can't say enough good about him because I'm so grateful to Ron Ferlito for helping me to find my true singing voice.

Mary is an OUTSTANDING voice teacher! I love to sing but always with a choir. Now I am singing SOLO and am surprising myself. Mary has the AMAZING ability to paint a picture and in simple, understandable terms, describe the technique of voice sound and quality that are easy and understandable to apply. Mary is classically trained and WELL trained. Learn from the BEST! You'll love the lessons and you'll be singing even better in just a few lessons, too! ... It's all about the BREATH!

i am taking my first vocal lessons and working with Sam is awesome. I feel comfortable singing with my untrained (aka crappy) voice around him. I've learned a lot in a very short amount of time and look forward to growing with more time and practice

I have taken vocal lessons from Dr. Miller for the past four years. I also sing in a community choir that he directs. I haven't sung seriously for 40 years, so I had some bad habits to unlearn and some new techniques to learn. Dr. Miller is the perfect teacher for my situation. He is a combination of trained vocal teacher with high standards, and patient, relaxed cheerleader. He picks challenging but not impossible repertoire, and gently pushes me to my best work. In the community choir that he directs, he works with all ages, from college freshmen to long-retired seniors. We all learn from him. I highly, highly recommend him if you want to learn to sing. He believes everyone can sing, and the results of his teaching prove his belief.

I have recently been taking singing lessons from Sommar and can honestly say that I've never learned so much while having so much fun. She has taken someone with absolutely no musical background and opened my eyes to the complicated yet wonderful world of music. She broke down the basics for me in a way that I could remember and utilize them. Her endless tricks, strategies, and practices have helped me grow and come out of my musical shell. Sommar is the most patient, encouraging teacher. She has never once put me down or provided anything less than the most comfortable setting which has allowed me to take the chances I would have never risked and make the mistakes I needed to make in order to learn and grow as a singer. She pays attention to every detail and really cares about strengthening my weaknesses while showcases my strengths. I look forward to my next singing lesson from the moment I leave. It is by far the best part of my week and I couldn't be more grateful that I've had the pleasure to meet her and learn from her.

There are three qualities I admire in a teacher. Patience, support, and explanation. Star uses all of those qualities in her lessons. Star explains the how and the why involved in proper singing. I never fell uneasy or awkward during our lessons. I have learned a great deal in only a short amount of time with Star. I feel my confidence in singing has grown significantly since I started taking lessons from Star.

Will was a blessing for my son, who studied piano with him from ages 4 to 6. Will has high expectations, yet is patient, kind, and always encouraging. My son greatly enjoyed his piano lessons and would still be studying with Will if he had not left our area. Highly recommended!

Working with Jeremy has been a fun and amazing experience! I can't even begin to express how happy I am with my lessons. When I began lessons about 8 months ago, I was really shy and wasn't sure what to expect, but Jeremy was so relaxed and patient with me that it helped me to just be myself. He's very knowledgable about the voice and singing that I completely trust him with my voice. I've experienced so much growth as a singer. ...better yet, everyone that knows me can hear the night/day difference in my singing, range and overall skill. Listen: if you're looking for top-quality, professional vocal instruction, your search is done.... Jeremy is your guy!

I took voice lessons from Lacy because of the need for my job as a music director at church. I am a pianist, so I didn’t have the need for basic music theory but strong understanding of vocal techniques for the purpose of singing without straining my voice, which was the reason I never sang, and also teaching my choir members. Lacy has been very patient and extremely helpful in making me understand the vocal techniques. Less than a year of taking lessons from her without any previous training from anybody else, I pass the audition for the Phoenix Symphony Chorus. I highly recommend Lacy if you want solid and right technique from the get go as well as artistry.

    About

I'm a Phoenix based professional English to Russian (Russian to English) translator, Russian tutor and singer. Music, singing and languages are my main passions. I enjoy sharing my experience with people who have the same interests as me. My singing career started from attending art-aesthetic gymnasium in Russia where I took choir, sol-fa and musical literature classes. After experiencing singing in a choir, I started performing solo with European and American pop songs taking part in different Russian singing competitions. Singing is an art of opening yourself, your emotions, your soul for the music and lyrics of the song you sing. I can help you make your voice stronger, to feel the music, to get rid of the fear of performing and to learn how to energy others with your singing. I have a bachelor's degree in translation, and as a Russian native speaker, I can also give you Russian lessons, helping you to learn more about Russian culture, authentic traditions and people, as well as translate any kind of texts from Russian to English of from English to Russian.

      About

I have recently expanded my business, 1 Voice Vocal Studios. With this expansion, I wanted to extend a special invitation. If you, or someone you know, love to sing, I would like to offer you a complimentary, no-obligation 30-minute voice lesson (a $30 value), as my way of introducing myself. I am 33 years old and have been teaching singing lessons for over 12 years. I have studied voice in Los Angeles with the man considered by many to be, the nation's top voice instructor. I find it an honor to bring what I have learned from this master instructor to my students in Arizona. Are you a closet singer? Do you only sing in the shower or car? Is singing something you've always wanted to be good at? Do you simply love to sing? Well, did you know everyone can sing? If you can speak, you can sing, and the notion of "tone deaf" is simply not true! There is a proven method to help you. If you already sing well professionally or semiprofessionally, this technique is for you too, as it is used with hundreds of the industry's top professional singers. If you want to improve your voice quality, improve your pitch, sing higher, sing louder, eliminate breaks and cracks, and sing better for karaoke, talent shows, competitions, recordings, or live performance, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. Singing is a natural process, and when done properly, singing should be as effortless as speaking. Nothing should feel any different in the throat or mouth area. Basically if the larynx (Adams apple) stays down and the vocal chords stay together, everything will be fine. Whatever your singing needs are, you will learn the proper vocal coordination to help you reach your goals. Please contact me to schedule this first complimentary lesson. I will be offering the free lesson for a limited time only! I would love to talk with you more and show you how effective and fun this can be! Leslee
