Grease hidden in filters, ducts, and fans can make kitchen hood cleaning more than a surface task, and some buildings may be subject to fire or ventilation standards. A trained pro can often document buildup properly, which may help avoid failed inspections or repeat service.

Jim D says, "I went on Angie's List to look for Mini Split purchase/installation bids. I received 9 bids from all over the Valley. Aire Serv of E Glendale-Peoria was the absolute best bid by far. The guys showed up and did an outstanding job. They DON'T try to sell you something you don't need. They're honest and hardworking. Victor, Lyle and Steven were great guys and are welcome anytime in my home. They also have a 2 visit yearly plan that saves you 15% on any items you need replaced as well as the maintenance. It's hard to find people that are this honest and trustworthy. You really should try them out and see for yourself."See more

Phyllis B. says, "My tenant had electrical issues, I searched a little and found these guys, within 2 hours they was at my apartment building, when they arrived SRP had secured it so that no one could mess with it, probably for safety issues, instead of leaving, they communicated with SRP and SRP went back and unlocked it, I’m sure most companies would have left, charge me for the emergency call just for going out, not these guys, they went there to do a job and didn’t leave until the job was done, that’s the type of company, I don’t mind spending my money with, I will definitely use them in the future! Thanks Premier, Absolutely satisfied !!!"See more

Ca R. says, "My initial contact with the owner of the company Jose, was very professional and informative. Our air conditioner went out when it was 106°. I contacted Jose through Thumbtack and he came the next morning and not only did he come first thing in the morning. He made me priority because we had no air upstairs at all for a few days. Unfortunately, I had to replace both of my units. The install was very very lengthy, but the men that came were pretty friendly and and polite. I really only have one complaint and that is that they did not clean up after themselves very well. I picked up several screws out of my he said, use your ring finger and just like do it like all around and make sure you especially the bags and your crows feet yard. My driveway had a lot of little stuff on it, and two of my bathroom sinks were full of drywall type materials from them cleaning my vents. All in all everything went pretty well as far as equipment goes who knows this is only the first week only time will tell . I can say, though up until this moment, I would definitely recommend them."See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

The best house cleaners in Phoenix might charge a price that starts as low as $60. How much you’ll pay will depend on several factors. The first is the type of cleaning you need, which could be a regular house clean, a deep clean or a move-out clean. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms will also affect price, as will the number of pets you may have. And if you sign up for regular cleaning, you’re more likely to get a lower cost per session than if you choose a one-time cleaning.

Please note: All cost estimates are accurate at time of writing and are subject to change. For the most accurate, up-to-date cost estimates for your specific project, get free estimates from pros near you.

To find the best cleaning service in Phoenix, read house cleaning reviews from past customers and look for information about the house cleaner’s professionalism, punctuality and quality of work. If customers provided before-and-after photos of their house cleaner's work, take the time to review them.

Due to the dry climate in the Phoenix area, cleaners should have experience cleaning and removing dust and dirt from hard and soft surfaces. Look for both basic and deep cleaning services, as well as the services that cost extra (windows with screens, etc.).

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary of housekeepers and maids in the Phoenix area is $24,820 annually or about $11.93 per hour. However, specific maid and house cleaner salaries are based on factors such as education and certification. Workers in the industry living in Phoenix will find their wages slightly lower than the $25,570 national average salary for maids and housekeepers.

You may benefit from hiring a professional move-out cleaning service, depending on your budget, time frame and whether you will be getting a deposit back. Hiring a cleaning service takes the stress out of your move. But if you’ve had your house regularly deep-cleaned, or if your landlord will charge you for cleaning anyway, you can save costs by DIY-ing it.

Generally, getting your house cleaned professionally can take several hours. The time it takes for house cleaners to complete their job depends on the size of your home, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you have, the type of service you require and the condition of your house. It also might depend on how many employees are cleaning and the supplies they are using. If you get recurring cleaning services, the first visit might take a bit longer than the subsequent visits.

When choosing the best house cleaner for you, ask for an estimate about how long their services will take.

The national average cost for house cleaning ranges between $25 and $50 per hour, per cleaner. However, the cost of house cleaning services near you might be different.

House cleaning prices vary based on how many square feet your home is, how dirty your house gets and how often the cleaning service comes. And, prices can be lower in areas with a lower cost of living, higher in big cities or affluent regions.

Some companies charge a set amount — such as 5 cents — per square foot, with a minimum amount, such as $100. You may save money by increasing the frequency of your house cleaning visits. Often a company will charge you less per cleaning when you schedule more cleanings per month. The cost advantage rewards your loyalty, and also reflects the fact that more frequent cleanings make it easier to maintain a high level of cleanliness in your home. A housecleaning service may charge more for the first visit or for one-time services than for recurring cleanings.

When searching for the best house cleaning service near you, consider the depth of your cleaning needs, your budget and the size and condition of your home. Read reviews from verified customers of any cleaning service that you’re looking to hire. Also, check out the reviewers’ photos and do background checks on reviewers to ensure they’re not employed by established cleaning firms or maid agencies.

When viewing house cleaners on Thumbtack, you might see a Top Pro badge. This indicates that the service is one of the most popular and highly-rated professionals using the platform.

There are several things you can do in preparation for a house cleaning to improve the efficiency and quality of the job. If you’re unfamiliar with a cleaning service, hiding and locking away any obvious valuables lying around can offer great peace of mind.

Depending on the preference of the cleaner, you may need to lock up your pets before the cleaners arrive. Washing dishes and decluttering the house allows a house cleaner to do their job more effectively. And leaving special notes for the cleaners about certain areas in your home that need attention is also helpful.

Ask house cleaners near you about their tips to help you prepare for their services.

The frequency you should have your house cleaned depends on several factors, and the best professional house cleaner can give you a rough estimate of costs so you can budget how often you need someone to clean your home.

Daily house cleaning may be necessary if you have a home with a large number of bedrooms with young children and kids, although other homeowners may benefit from weekly house cleaning. A weekly cleaner can clean the bathroom, kitchen, do laundry, vacuum and mop. An occasional deep house cleaning is most beneficial for people who have recently renovated a home or are looking to do a spring clean.

Although some house cleaning and housekeeping duties might overlap, a house cleaner is charged with the top-to-bottom cleaning of a home. House cleaner duties typically include basic and deep house cleaning, such as washing and sanitizing countertops, floors, tubs, toilets, kitchens and more.

Housekeepers or maids are hired to lightly clean and maintain certain aspects of the home. This might include dusting, washing dishes, changing sheets, doing some meal preparation and restocking the client’s groceries and personal care products.

It’s also worth noting that a housekeeper or maid is usually one individual employed to a home (sometimes hired as a live-in), while a house cleaner is oftentimes accompanied by a team of cleaners.
