Introduction: I'm not just a teacher. Although I value my experience teaching as it's a craft and skill in itself, I'm also a working professional in the industry. I perform/record 4-5 days a week in a wide variety of settings. I also have a science background, which I tie into my explanations of the physics behind the sounds we produce. I enjoy helping my students to understand things that it took me years to figure out on my own, and to help them find joy in performing and composing their own music. I also enjoy learning from my students, as their questions often open doors to my own deeper understanding of the material.
