I have taken lessons from Carolyn for approximatley 5 years total. I moved to OK for two years and was not able to find a teacher there that came close to Carolyn in knowledge and expertise. Now that I am back in AZ I am happy to be studying with her again. What I appreciate the most about Carolyn is that she is professional and a great source to build experience in not just personal but group performance.

I have always wanted to play the Cello and have found a great fit here. She gives me just as much work as I can handle and I surprise myself as to what I am able to do after just a couple of months. She is very patient and good at explaining why we do things the way we do.

Dana is an effective and considerate teacher. She is teaching my 9 y/o daughter violin, and my daughter has absolutely loved it so far. She leaves class enthusiastic to practice and learn more, excited for the next week's class. Dana has incorporated teaching methods that work very well for someone my daughter's age: stickers, hide and seek, song at the tune of nursery rhymes to learn violin parts. Dana is clearly very passionate about music and has expressed her own excitement about my daughter's learning process and natural musical talents. Tip: She teaches out of ASU campus, which may seem intimidating for someone that knows how much of a nightmare driving and parking in that area can be; but the music building is on the outskirts of campus, and plenty of nearby loading zones make pickup and drop-off a cinch.

I have had two lessons from Becca so far. She is incredibly patient and and knowledgeable. A very gifted teacher. I am 24 and have no experience with the violin or music/instruments in general. And after 2 lessons I can play happy birthday. I really enjoy the way she teaches, she gives homework assignments that are really helpful and ultimately sets you up for success. I am extremely excited to keep learning from her.

Rebecca is fun and excited about teaching the violin. Though I'm a complete beginner of the instrument, she instructs me with proper technique and is especially careful that I don't develop bad habits. She also makes the entire experience really fun.

He not only has excellent teaching skills but his motivation is to make sure my son is developing the proper habits and skills. We are so happy with Tim and the growth my son has shown is remarkable. Looking forward to a long future with Tim as my son's teacher.

Tim was great with my daughter and she learned a lot from him. I would recommend him to anyone wanting a great foundation for learning the violin. The concert he had for the kids at the holidays was fantastic and he is an amazing musician himself!! Thanks Tim-Alia and Lori

I was brand new to guitar when I started lessons with Richard. He is great at taking things at the pace you need and being patient with a new student. He is also very flexible with schedule and length of lessons, so you can work lessons into a busy schedule. His knowledge of music theory was evident in his instruction, and he imparted this information at appropriate times as I learned the practical side of playing. I enjoyed our lessons, as I felt like I made progress, but they were fun at the same time. Richard is very receptive of your input and the direction you want lessons to go. He'll focus on what you want to learn and the songs you want to learn. Overall, I was impressed with his skill and ability to teach, and would highly recommend him!

This service is great - I used to wait in my car trolling Facebook while my son had his piano lesson at his old studio. Now I get an hour and a half back every week while he works and I don't have to drive. Highly recommend Traveling Music Lessons. So much better than before.

I am an adult student of Moshe's. With a resume as impressive as Moshe's, he could certainly afford to cherry pick only the most talented of student...But he doesn't! He is excited to share his love of music with all his students; regardless of age and experience level! What a great opportunity to learn from a master violinist!

Myra Lin is a superb violinist with the ability to play many styles of music including classical, jazz and fiddling. You should hear her tango! WOW! Myra puts her heart into her music, with highest regards to the composer's intent and translating that to her audience. She can really connect with the audience. As a teacher, Myra' attention to detail is impeccable. She knows how to teach technique second to none, and includes music theory so that the violinist understands what they are doing and can problem solve in the practice room. Bottom line is that Myra cares about her students. She teaches them how to play the violin well and how to be a person of character. As a professional violinist myself, I highly recommend Myra Lin as a teacher and performer.

I take piano lessons from Chris and I highly recommend him. Chris is an extremely talented pianist and a great teacher. He is very flexible in finding material that the student will enjoy playing while still suiting the music to the students skill level and is able to isolate techniques. One thing I particularly enjoy about my lessons is that Chris does a great job of doing more than just helping me learning to play a song. He helps apply techniques of good piano playing to the pieces I am working on and explains how those techniques will affect the sound of the piece so it can be more emotional and entertaining. Now that I have been doing lessons with Chris for a while, we have started to adjust the structure of the lesson to add activities in our lessons that are geared toward my interests like music theory work or help strengthen some of my weaknesses like sight reading. Above all, Chris is an extremely kind person who genuinely cares about his students, their progress, and that they are enjoying both their lessons and learning the instrument as a whole.

I cannot say enough good things about Chris and recommend him to any adult seeking to hire a high-quality piano instructor. Throughout each lesson, he is upbeat, respectful, flexible, engaging, responsive, thoughtful, and encouraging, making him truly motivating. Additionally, his humility puts others at ease in light of his exceptional talents. Meeting people where they are at, Chris skillfully tailors each lesson with a balance of music theory, technique, and individual piano performance, making each lesson holistic and high-value. He selects music pieces and instructional books that are challenging and of quality and provides appropriate practice/homework for next lesson. Overall, I'm so pleased with my experience and feel thankful that Chris is located in the Phoenix Valley to teach our community and share his gifts and make better piano players!

We met Clint at the first fiddle camp he put on in Hurricane. We were very impressed with his teaching and knowledge and way with the kids. Our daughter was just about to give up on the Violin and he taught her a whole new thing..."fiddling"! She loved it and it gave her an new love for the instrument. She still plays after two more school years. She likes the things she plays in school but loves to fiddle! I have had children in various music lessons for many years. He is the most positive teacher that we have had. He teaches and reinforces in a way that helps build confidence and a desire to do better. He has never been critical nor scolded her even if she had it coming. After each lesson my daughter is more enthused to practice and put to use the things she has learned. She desires to do better each week because he helps her feel such great accomplishment each lesson.

Nicole is simply phenomenal both as a violin teacher and as a person. She has been giving my 12 year old daughter violin lessons for a little over a year now, and I am very pleased with my daughters progress. What is heartening to see is that my daughter has progressed not only in her musical skills, but Nicole's approach to teaching seems to have helped my daughter evolve around her music as a person too! I am impressed as to how patient Nicole is with children, and how much more the extra mile she is ready to go for her students. She is a great role model for children. I highly recommend Nicole as a violin teacher. She is quite amazing!

"Nicole is a professional violinist with a high degree of knowledge in music and in performance through her instrument. She has collaborated with different music groups in conferences and also as a soloist at weddings. She has been playing her violin since childhood, and the passion she carries when she is playing is a delight to hear. Nicole has the sensitivity to transmit through the strings of the violin a voice, as if the violin were speaking to you through the strings. She is an exceptional violinist."

Working with Clarice Collins was definitely the best choice I could have made and anyone thinking of looking for a special individual for an event needs to select Clarice! The options were to select between Work Quality, Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value and Punctuality in this rating. Clarice not only was exceptional in all of these areas, but she went above and beyond, making my event the most incredible and emotional experience. Clarice was even able to find a vocalist on short notice to accompany her violin and keyboard duet which made our experience one of a kind and very emotional. Thank you Clarice, you are a wonderful person!

About

I teach private piano and violin lessons from beginning to intermediate. I have played both instruments for 14 years and have been teaching them for 5 years. I am aiming to get my music education degree from MCC, then ASU. I encourage creativity and composing (writing songs) and can help with such. If you choose to bring more than one child at a time to lessons, I have an iPad where they can practice honing their music skills through music games as their sibling has their lesson. If need be, I can travel to you. I charge a $10 trip charge each time I drive out to you, not including the regular price at $50 a month. Altogether, it would be $90 a month for the travel option. I hold three recitals a year (March, October, and December), where students play violin and piano solos and duets.

About

We offer private and one-on-one lessons in piano, voice, guitar and violin. Students are invited to participate in two recitals per year. We also offer academic tutoring in reading and math on all levels. Our studio is located near downtown Chandler, close to the 202 freeway.

I am 26 years old, I took piano lessons from the time I was 6 to 14, so I am already familiar with notes and reading music. I really want to learn violin because I want an instrument that is more mobile. I've always been in love with Celtic music, and would really like to be able to improvise on the violin in addition to reading music.
