Rob S. says, "Venus Homes recently remodeled two of my bathrooms, added an additional full bath, replaced all my plumbing, added a hallway, and tiled my entire house...in less than a month. Narsay was professional, punctual, and was precise in his project coordination. He was able to get a tile guy, electrician, plumber, and drywall guy all to work in perfect order to get the job done cleanly and quickly. The crew was respectful of my house and honest. I had to give them full access to my house while I was at work and nothing ever went missing or was used without my permission. (They never even touched something as small as the thermostat). The entire job was done quickly and well. The tile guy was amazing. His lines and cuts are as good as I've seen. Narsay was communicative and proactive in identifying the best way to make the changes I wanted. I had 3 bids for this project and Narsay was the most positive and enthusiastic of the three. He was genuinely excited and confident about this project. He followed through and made good on his word. There were no surprises or additional costs. Narsay did what he quoted and was reasonable and fair. Multiple friends have requested Narsay's number now that they have seen his work. I highly recommend Venus Homes for your project. Josh W. says, "Gil and the Avalon Home Performance crew did an amazing job clearing out some of the junk and debris that was in our 1960 attic along with about a 4” mix of fiberglass and cellulose insulation. I now have an R49 in my attic, all of my ventilation is now adequately sealed up and not leaking anymore and all of my ceiling leak points for light fixtures, fans, etc have been air sealed! Gil came out for the initial inspection along with the 3 other insulation companies I reached out to through Thumbtack, I have a rule of always getting at least three quotes anytime I need a contractor for anything. I look for a balance of professionalism, knowledge, cost, quality and reputation. I chose Avalon because of their detail to the work that needed to be done, everyone else just tried to sell the job and they would’ve just covered all of the debris in my attic with insulation to never be removed! Gil & Avalon Home Performance truly care about doing quality work, the right way, for a reasonable price. They aren’t the cheapest company out there but that is because they are doing things the right way, with the best products and the best additions to make your insulation work better for your home, regardless of how much time it takes to do it. There are a lot of companies that cut corners and put inferior insulation products in your attic to save money and increase their profit and do subpar work, I learned that through my other quotes and my subsequent research. I was very impressed with Avalon’s process and the end result has saved me about 30% on my electricity bill and even more importantly has made my home much more comfortable now and has also helped to mute and remove a lot of the outside noise that I was hearing through our attic empty. This will ultimately pay for itself over time in my electricity savings so it’s a win-win! I would recommend no one except for Avalon, for any of your insulation needs! Save your time and just reach out to them, don’t be bought and sold by the companies all about the profit and have none of the follow-through!"See more
