From the time I enquired about lessons, the communication has been outstanding. I was asking about voice lessons for my son, and when the instructor came to my house, he was very professional, and the lessons were up to my expectations. We will continue to do voice lessons weekly. Super great company!

Our son has been going to Eddie for two years now and he is an outstanding teacher. Jonathan is blind in one eye and can't see out of the other and Eddie has always accommodated to his needs. We moved out of the Phoenix area about 6 months ago and continue to do the online lessons with Eddie. Jonathan looks forward to his lessons every week and is doing great! We highly recommend Eddie for drum lessons.

My daughter has taken drum lessons for years, but started lessons with Eric a few months ago. I've seen a lot more improvement lately as well as a boosted interest in playing/practicing more often. Eric has a practical approach to his teaching that simulates that of a performance drummer. In other words, he gets them playing real repertoire while at the same time implementing proper technique. He's also reliable via scheduling and studio set up. As a music teacher myself, I'm happy to call Eric a true professional and I'm happy that we found him.

I was brand new to guitar when I started lessons with Richard. He is great at taking things at the pace you need and being patient with a new student. He is also very flexible with schedule and length of lessons, so you can work lessons into a busy schedule. His knowledge of music theory was evident in his instruction, and he imparted this information at appropriate times as I learned the practical side of playing. I enjoyed our lessons, as I felt like I made progress, but they were fun at the same time. Richard is very receptive of your input and the direction you want lessons to go. He'll focus on what you want to learn and the songs you want to learn. Overall, I was impressed with his skill and ability to teach, and would highly recommend him!

Alex has really made an impression on my 7 yo son and he has only had two lessons. He practices guitar nearly every day and is showing me how to play without getting my thumb lasered off. (This is apparently what happens if one’s thumb is visible above the neck). Alex is very good with my son even though his attention span is short. He is showing him the correct way to hold and play the guitar and my son is really enjoying the lessons. So far, Alex has been very conscientious and reliable. I would certainly recommend him as a guitar instructor.

I've been taking lessons with Lou for around 4 years and he is great. It got me out of sticking to one style of music and becoming more open to jazz, Latin, and other styles of music which have helped me become a better player in jazz band at school. I would defiantly check out taking lessons at drum chops, you start our simple and move one to more advanced stuff.

Jim has been an excellent teacher for my 2 seven-year old boys. He is very methodical, each lesson building on the previous lessons. I am a musician (piano, trumpet, trombone) so I appreciate that Jim is teaching my boys how to be musicians, not just showing them how to beat the drums. At first I was skeptical about the need for an hour-long lesson, but now I know that there is an awful lot to being a true drummer. I highly recommend Jim to anyone, young or old, looking to learn how to play the drums.

Matt has been an amazing resource in his teaching methods. I am new to drumming completely and Matt was able to give me the tools to build a solid foundation of proper techniques. He really focused on what methods could improve my current progress. Thank you Matt!

About

Hello! After studying drumset performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, I have recently relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to begin teaching and performing. I first began studying percussion and drumset over eight years ago; since then, I have performed in major venues and festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival (California), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Frederick P. Rose Hall (New York City), and Carnegie Hall (New York City). Additionally, I have performed with notable artists such as Brice Winston, Charles McPherson, Ray Drummond, and Jason Carder. I have had extensive experience performing and teaching many styles of music including jazz, rock, hip hop, and latin. However, I am just as enthusiastic about teaching beginners the basic fundamentals of percussion and the drumset. My home studio, located just off of 46th St. and Chandler Blvd. in Ahwatukee, is fully equipped with two drumsets and other teaching materials. But I will commute to students' homes/studios for lessons, if requested. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

About

I offer drum lessons. I've been teaching students of all ages, from beginner to advanced, drawing from my many years of professional experience in the studio and live playing as well as touring. We combine what the student is interested in (more so for advanced) and what they need work on. To get you playing with less effort, more control, better ideas, on top of a very solid groove, I am using traditional books and years of teaching experience. I also offer music lessons, covering beginning piano. The student learns how to read and play notes, rhythms, chords, melodies and scales. I also teach bass guitar. The students will learn to read rhythms, notes on instrument and scales, approach to good technique, articulation and read tab and standard music.

About

I have been playing and making music for 11 years now and want to pass on my skills to other people who have the same passion that I do. Along with music, I also swim and work as a lifeguard, and I have all the certifications needed to keep you safe in and around pool.

My name is Zachary Smith. I'm a 22-year-old Arizona native, and I have been learning and playing music since I was about 10 years old. I have a superior ear for this hobby that I've grown to love so much! I have played the trumpet, drums and guitar (strings) well enough to teach others sufficiently regardless of playing level and have played piano, sax, flute and french horn well enough to teach someone in their beginning years.
