My son first took drum lessons from Alan and because he is such a patient and mellow teacher, my daughter took drum lessons from him as well. Along with being a great teacher and a very kind person, he is a great drummer and singer!

Casey offered me the right combination of patience and encouragement to allow me to progress in my drum technique. Not only is he knowledgeable about seemingly endless styles of music, but he also pushed me to embrace my own sound and made me feel comfortable to explore the drums in a personal way. Easy to work with and a good guy all around.

I thought the Reverb Lessons staff was great in helping me find the right teacher for my lessons. I had a couple questions since their process is different and Jason was happy to walk me through everything. I've also loved my lessons, and look forward to it every week! Give them a shot.

I do start them off in the beginning with basic drum patterns a stick control elements. After that the lesson is all up to the student. Within reason of there ability. I have 4 students ranging from 4-9. I work well with that age group. It is not what I am teaching the younger students as much as it is more fun for them to explore there own talents. I am there to perfect that talent. Many of my students have been with me at the East Chicago Store from the very beginning. I am proud to say that we both have a great student-teacher relationship. The Parents of all my students enjoy my working with there children. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life next to having my own child. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Sincerely, Alan Swift Anderson
