Mindy was so great with our son in helping him with his singing. Not having had any voice training, and having to sing a solo in a play, he was very anxious about taking voice lessons. After the first lesson he was very happy and thrilled with Mindy's approach to the voice training. She was patience, very insightful and gave him some great techniques to use to stay within his range and meet some notes that he had to hit. She even gave him pointers on how to combat stage fright. Our 14 year old son gives her 5 stars too and that's saying a lot. We would highly recommend Mindy for voice training!

I've been taking guitar and singing lessons with David for a few months, and I've got to say I've had a really great time learning from him! David is an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable teacher who clearly cares about his students and their goals, and better still has played and performed with the artists that I like best. It took me a while to find a teacher who was willing to teach me the music I wanted to play instead of starting with their core competence, so it was really refreshing that within a month or two with plenty of practice I was able to learn one of my favorite songs (Three Rounds and a Sound by Blind Pilot, if you're curious), and a little longer to start singing it, which I was really stoked about. He has been great about breaking things down when the piece we're working on is too challenging. David has also pushed me to pursue my goal of creating music, helping along the way to create melodies and lyrics. I have to say, it takes a great teacher to get me to sing and to share lyrics with them (do you know how embarrassing that can be?). I could go on, but suffice it to say, David is a great teacher, and I'm really glad I started taking lessons with him.

I've been taking voice lessons with Sarah for about 6 months. I chose Sarah because of the quality and detail of her initial responses, as well as her obvious enthusiasm for teaching. I came to her as a hopeless cause in his mid-thirties who could never hit a note. Sarah and her teaching have shown me that I *do* have a voice in there and that I *can* do this. Her techniques and patience have helped me open up my range and start building tone and charecter to my voice. As a teacher, Sarah is professional and fun, patient and caring. She's always happy to try and explain concepts in different ways to help with my understanding. Everything we do in our lessons feels tailored completely to my voice, my issues and my goals. I'm not normally much of a reviewer, but I want to see Sarah succeed and I'm sure there's many of you out there wanting to take the first step into learning how to sing and unsure of where to start. I strongly recommend you contact Sarah and tell her your goals and listen to what she has to say.

Welcoming, funny, patient and professional. Ken's style of teaching is exactly what I was looking for. Being a shy person I was hesitant to start vocal lessons. I just had my second lesson and I can't wait until next week. Great teacher!

The best way I can describe Liz Hodge is as my “Go-To” for overcoming my biggest vocal challenges, writing compelling business speeches that sound like they should be on TED, and making a difference for my leadership team. As the CEO of Promote Her Business, my business speeches and vocal communication significantly affect my ability to get leads, opt-ins, and to have people want to follow-up with our membership and advanced networking programs. Liz has helped me transform my voice into something I like to hear, am proud of, and have confidence will bring me and PHB more business. In addition, as President of our SV Chapter, I take very seriously who educates my leadership team -- of over 10 people -- on the best practices in speaking and vocalizing today. Liz did such a great job giving a mini group workshop to the women entrepreneurs and male allies on our team. And most impressively, Liz’ teaching is so practical that it lives on … my leaders are still referring to what Liz taught us before they speak in front of the community. My daughter recently started doing piano lessons with Lynn and she just loves it. She loves Lynn and thinks she is so nice. I sat in on her first session and I learned so much just from watching in the background. Lynn is an outstanding piano teacher and I recommend her for anyone interested in piano or voice lessons.

Wow, Ann has been great! I've never taken any voice lessons before, and in fact, I'm a terrible singer! The reason why I wanted to take lessons was because I've always wanted to be able to sing at least one song decently. So, I was nervous going to my first lesson with a professional voice coach. She was very friendly, and put me at ease immediately. She casually taught me about the basics, and asked me a lot of questions to get to know me. Once she realized I had no prior experience, she got right to work! She made the lessons fun, but also full of new things to learn. I've only had a couple of lessons so far, but I'm already noticing a big difference!!! And I'm an absolute beginner! Sometimes she sings for me to show me techniques, and she blows me away with her singing! I can imagine that even professional singers would get a lot out of taking lessons from her! She notices even the tiniest of details about your voice and makes note and suggests ways to improve! I definitely recommend!

Sarah participated in the St. John's choir and also took private vocal lessons with Emily to improve her singing and confidence. We found Emily to be fun, responsible, engaging, and we saw great improvements in Sarah's abilities during her time with Emily. Additionally, I will emphasize that Emily has great skill in working with a variety of personalities, including expert skills in working with special needs kids.

I've been singing for a very long time as a back-up singer and songwriter. I've studied with dozens of teachers in my time and I wish I would have stumbled upon Ashten sooner! She is hands down the best voice teacher I've ever had. She is able to immediately hear what is going on with my voice and can easily prescribe a solution. I feel like I have finally found my true sound since working with her. Best decision I ever made! Thank you Ashten!!!!

Emily listens to your goals and tailors her lessons accordingly. She accommodates a wide range of musical interests, from the very technically demanding (opera, jazz, etc) to the more simplistic (rock, pop, etc). She is supportive and pushes you to do your best and doesn't let little imperfections slide through, no matter how many tries it takes because she wants you to learn strong fundamental techniques. She is empathetic and has a great personality, and keeps the mood fun and light. I highly highly recommend Emily.

I had a great experience learning with Noelle. It was my first time ever taking any kind of singing lessons - she was very encouraging and helped a lot in improving my confidence with singing. She is also very meticulous and structured which I liked about her approach.
