Barbara is one of the most professional people I know when it comes to music. She has helped me with my singing and basic music knowledge. I have a much better knowledge of rhythms that I did not have before singing in her choirs and playing handbells. She has such a positive attitude towards people who are not musically inclined and helps them to have confidence in their musical abilities. She makes singing in her choirs fun. She is a fun person to know and always makes practice enjoyable. She has taken a simple church choir, with many people who cannot read music and some who don't sing well, and made us all sound almost professional. She is dedicated to her profession, and has great integrity. She has definitely been a positive influence in my life.

Knows what he is talking about, and willing to work with your voice. I was having difficulty learning the more traditional way, and instead of just pressing on or giving up, he just had me sing. Oddly enough, singing, I was able to produce (more of) the correct keys for him (but not when he just wanted the keys alone). So he had a brilliant idea; just buy music sheets and learn to sing, by singing songs (instead of learning individual keys first before diving into a full song). Learn to sing the correct keys, as I'm singing them in a song. Overall, nice guy, patient and creative. Would recommend.

Renew Educational Solutions provides opportunities to individuals and groups to learn more about vocal technique, as it pertains to either speech or singing. We work on performance anxiety, breathing, diction, and intonation. Additionally, music classes and workshops include solo and ensemble repertoires for both choral and instrumental groups, teaching techniques, vocal pedagogy, copyrights, and more.

I have taught all ages and levels of skill. I have an extensive knowledge of music theory and style, anything from Nirvana to Bruno Mars. I also give classes in songwriting and composition.

This is the simplest way that I can compare teaching piano/music/voice: It's like teaching a student a 2nd language. As a beginner, looking at music and trying to read it is, essentially, a foreign language. My job is to figure out the level of comprehension my new students are at and grow the understanding of music from there. I start with the basic principle of music and I curtail lessons to fit each student. As we know, each student learns differently. As I come to know each student, I learn how to help interpret the language of music to each individual.

We give lessons on all instruments and vocal lessons for all levels and all styles. We also do sales and service for all instruments.

We teach guitar, drums, bass, piano and vocals and have a unique rock band and performance training program. We also have recording studio located on site.
