My yoga session with Olivia went better than I ever could have imagined. Olivia was prompt in replying to my request for information. She was easy to schedule with. She emailed me a little form in advance so I could communicate my goals, experience, comfort level, etc. She arrived on time bringing mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, all the supplies needed for a beginner. I immediately felt comfortable with her. We spent a few minutes discussing yoga, expectations, etc. Olivia had prepared a routine or set of poses (she had another name for this but I can't remember it off the top of my head). It was challenging but not to the point that I felt it was too much or that I was in over my head. She encouraged me to stretch a little more if I could, explained why stretching and twisting is good for the body, and always focused on breathing. She'd make adjustments if I wasn't in proper position and I could notice the difference immediately. I enjoyed the music and the pace of the class very much. She has a pleasant voice that I found relaxing to listen to as she guided me through the routine. I can't wait for my next session!
Annie is the best yoga teacher and energy healer I've known. She has been a true mentor to me. Her class takes you on a journey within and is truly an amazing experience from beginning to end. I drive over 50 miles just to take Annie's class. Her energy healings are also extremely intense and therapeutic. Annie is the true definition of a healer. She is also an amazing human being. I trust her completely and I recommend her class to everyone I know.
I’ve been seeing Meghan for about 9 months now and I’m amazed by the results! I am currently in the best shape of my life because of her quality training! I have abs and biceps!! I didn’t even know this was possible for me to attain! I’ve always been active but this training has brought me to a whole new level of fitness. She really focuses on form.. everything I thought I was doing right, I wasn’t. I’ve learned so much from her that I’m able to bring into my yoga practice. Started with Gil to balance yoga and weight training. He's very easy to work with and was always prepared with workout plans to help me progress. Over the 20 sessions I grew more comfortable doing handstands without relying on a wall.
We had a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette party in Malibu! I am so happy we selected Stacey to instruct yoga on the beach!! She was incredibly quick to reply, professional and prompt! We were mostly beginners and wanted to have a casual yoga session! She was very detailed in the movements/practice but at the same time tailored the class to her audience and kept it very lighthearted. Loved her jokes ;) At the end, she provided the bachelorette with a card congratulating her on the upcoming wedding! What a thoughtful touch! Too bad she didn't live in Texas otherwise I'd def be using her more! Thank you again Stacey for such a wonderful morning!
Shimeng is a sweet, personable, and passionate instructor. She was very tentative to each individual in our group session, and she leads with elegance, poise, and confidence in her work. Our group enjoyed the partner yoga poses as well. If we lived in the area, I would definitely like to take a class from her again! Thanks Shimeng!
I have taken a number of classes with Kelly, and walked away from each session with clarity, calmness, lightness, and overall improved state of well-being. Kelly is thoughtful and purposeful in her flows and sequences, and has one of the most calming presences I have ever experienced. Her love for the practice of yoga is evident, and she is passionate about assisting people in their own journeys as well. Her classes have a positive and happy atmosphere, and I always look forward to furthering my practice under her guidance. Kelly is a bright light in the world, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been able to practice with her.
Began cardio workouts April 2015 twice per week, my goal was weight loss and staying in shape. It is now October and my weight is down 31 lbs and my body is much better shape..very pleased. I am so happy to have her help and support. I am 77 years young..
Juilette is a wonderful yoga teacher! I was very nervous to have someone come into my house and teach me for an hour private with my husband but WOW we were impressed. She is so sweet, caring, and helpful when it comes to adjusting and correcting our poses. I have done yoga for a few years but my husband is new to yoga. She balanced both of us well and made adjustments to each one of our levels. I will be working with her again and advise you work with her too!
She is an aweeeesooooomeeee teacher not only for beginners but for the experienced ones as well. She knows what she is doing. She is the one who encourages me to keep working out regularly. Thank you sosososo much for your help!!!!
I have had a chronic spasm in my gluteus muscle that has been bothering me for several years. Ive been going to a chiropractor which helped it, but only a little bit. During my first lesson with Mindy, she was able to tailor positions and stretches for me, which diminished the spasm a great deal. After my first session with Mindy, the pain in the gluteus was about 60% better. After the second session it was 80% improved, and after the third session the pain is mostly gone and does not bother me. This is noteworthy and remarkable! I have attended group yoga classes before. These group classes strengthened the body and increased its flexibility, but Mindy was able to give me targeted postures and stretches to handle my individual needs. RESULT: the chronic pain in my gluteus is gone! My body comfort has much improved and pain is greatly diminished. As I continue my sessions I look forward to seeing what else we can do to further increase body functionality!
I have been fortunate enough to have had Fleur as a Pilates trainer on a 1 to1 basis as well as in a group session for several years. Her expertise is outstanding. She has the unique ability to teach by example and give her students an understanding they may not have had before. Her sensitive and caring way helps develop a strong and special bond. Fleur is very aware of health issues and in her group classes addresses those needs with her clients. I am a senior and have had osteoporosis for many years. With Fluer's help I have been able to strengthen the areas of weakness in my body. There are many Pilates instructors, but none that can compare to Fleur. How lucky I am to have found her!
I see Sony once a week for both yoga and massage. She is caring and works well with my physical limitations on my left side. I have felt both mentally and phyaically better since having worked with her over the last 2 years. Her attentiveness is wondeful and I am grateful for her knowledge and expertise.
