I run CONTENCITY, a video production company in Miami, and I am a solo operator by choice.
I make over 300 Reels a year, every year. Most of that work is public, sitting on other people's accounts, and a lot of it was shot for Miami influencers. If you follow that world, you have probably already seen some of it without knowing it was mine.
I have worked with some of the biggest names in Miami. I would rather not build a business that leans on a handful of them, so I put my profiles up everywhere instead. I am always open to a new working relationship, whether that turns out to be one shoot or a standing one.
You get your files the same day. Not next week, not after a wait. I have a process for filming, offloading and handing footage over the day it is shot, so the moment is still worth posting when it reaches you. Edits turn around fast after that. I do not go to sleep until the work is done.
Staying solo is deliberate. I know the gear, I know the shots, and I am the person on the job every single time. I have help on the office side, but the filming is me. That is how I keep quality control this tight, and how I actually get to know the people I work with. I am not trying to become a big agency. I am trying to be the person you call.
My favorite shoots are the ones that only happen once. A concert, an event, a launch, a night out, a car pulling up for the first time. I film Miami, and the people who live here.
I love working with influencers, bloggers, creators and internet personalities, and I love organic content just as much. Somebody who simply wants their life on camera: the watch, the car, the trip, the room, the whole day.
What I film: Reels, Shorts and short clips, concerts, events, parties and nightlife, lifestyle and day in the life content, cars and watches, personal brand video, brand and product content, podcasts, YouTube episodes and interviews, and lifestyle photography alongside the video.
The edit matters as much as the footage. Vertical for Instagram, TikTok and Shorts. Horizontal for YouTube. Cut to perform where it is going to live.
On price, I sit well below the Miami market rate, and nothing comes out of the work to get there. Look at what you pay, then look at what lands back in your hands. Those two numbers do not match, and that is on purpose.
I know what the alternative looks like, because I have hired locally myself. The difference is visual composition, the pacing of an edit, and the finish on it. That is the part I will never hand to somebody else, and it is why people book me again.
