I found 3 Little Birds on Thumbtack and instantly fell in love with the way Jessica and Dustin communicated and worked with me and my fiancé! We hired them as day of wedding planners and got an initial meet &a greet, timeline meeting, wedding rehearsal and the day of. Here's what makes them 5 stars. Dustin is an absolute gem and has the creative view to help pull the wedding day together. He used bridesmaid bouquets as extra decor, reused ceremony flowers for the reception and helped with every detail including me asking him to move some things around when they didn't look exactly how I pictured them. He checked in throughout the night and was amazing! Jessica is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and she is absolutely wonderful. Organized. Thorough. Great communication. But honestly the entire wedding day and night she kept asking me and my husband if needed anything. She bustled my dress for me, brought us appetizers and drinks and honestly made me feel like a princess. I had no worries the entire night! I highly recommend you have them stay to help clean up, it was a god send. Thank you Jessica and Dustin!!
After a caterer canceled ten days before my bride's wedding, the Mark Kearney Group reached out to me with their services. The menu they proposed reflected my client's palette perfectly: serving a light breakfast, BBQ lunch, wild caught raw bar for cocktail hour, and braised short rib for dinner - everything tasted impeccable. Prior to the day, Mark and his team were responsive to changes in the menu and food count. Likewise, the level of professionalism left me (the wedding planner) at ease - I felt very confident that Mark was going to produced great work, and my instincts were well-founded. On site, Mark went above and beyond to perform. The limited space and lack of air conditioning in the kitchen did not affect his care for each dish that was sent out. Furthermore, the team members he brought were kind and helpful. I can not imagine how the day would have gone without Mark's services. I only hope we work together soon!
I hired Chef Travis to help make my 39th wedding anniversary special. The food was expertly and creatively prepared. His personable demeanor made everything even more enjoyable. His ability to layer flavors was totally on the mark. My wife and I eat out often and I would be pressed to find another restaurant that could put together a meal like this. Highly recommend and will use him again.
I was in search for a luxury wedding planner for a private estate for my wedding. I could never the perfect venue space without her help! The private estate that I am going to have my wedding is simply beautiful! I called a lot of local planners and spoke to a few on thumbtack to find the right place, but she was the only one to care genuinely about my needs and concerns and delivered QUICKLY. Now she is my wedding planner. She is very professional and extremely good at follow-through. She has a solid experience and great connections in the industry. I will recommend her to anyone who is planning an event. I will write more about her after my honeymoon! :)
Michelle and Eimee were absolutely wonderful to work with! I was a bride planning my wedding from Maryland. I was really worried about the floral arrangements because I was not in California until a couple of weeks before my wedding. Michelle and Eimee always kept me in the loop and consistently communicated with me via Skype and email. They researched flowers that would complete my vision and fit within my budget. Everything turned out so beautiful! I cannot thank them enough!
There are not enough words to thank Ricki! She came in and saved our day. We knew we needed a local wedding planner because we live out of state and arrived in California just two days before our wedding. Ricki had everything all planned and ready to go down to the last detail. She has a way of working with people as the neutral third party to make everything go smoothly so all venders are working together in a most congenial way. She worked with us, giving us the fairy tale wedding we imagined. On the day-of, she assisted with making sure everything was set up as we envisioned for this most special venue. I would highly recommend Ricki for the most accurate and attentive service. There is no way we could have done it without her!

Joanne and her team were amazing to work with. They're a newer company and ready to go above and beyond to make your day happen. She was responsive and thorough, which made wedding planning less stressful and fun! She gave my husband and I a lot of options and were able to work with our budget without compromising the things we wanted. She connected me with a local florist and videographer. Their services exceeded my expectations and were great to work with as well. Joanne also arrived early on the day of my wedding to make sure the vendors were on track. It was a pleasure working with her team and I'd highly recommend their services.
I was hesitant to get a planner at first because we were working with a very small budget, but Ira was (is) absolutely amazing. Tiffany was the day-of coordinator for our wedding back in August and let me tell you she was an absolute GOD SEND. She's very organized/detail-oriented and incredible at keeping track of all the moving parts of our wedding BUT what sets her aside from my other vendors is that she has this super friendly and happy personality that instantly puts you in this relax and calm state. I cannot stress how important that was for me to have someone on my side during all the wedding craziness. I had a couple difficult family members that were acting out on the wedding day and she handled all of them with ease and grace. You just know from beginning to end that her number one goal is to make the day run as smoothly as possible. Before the wedding day she answered every one of my emails and phone calls promptly and always made me feel prioritized. She also gave a lot of great advice based on her experiences wedding planning. Honestly, her prices are unbeatable for the level of service she provides. Snatch her up fast because her calendar fills up very quickly!
I hired Golden State Events for my wedding, they had a million things thrown at them. There were issues with the band, power for the microphone at the ceremony, hotel dropping the ball on meals for my guests, and I never heard a peep. Everything was taken care of and everyone had such an amazing time. Every detail was thoughtful and beautiful. Really grateful we were able to work with Golden State Events. I would recommend them a million times over! Thank you!!
Where to begin! Ruby was a savior during my wedding events and was able to offload so much of my stress and attend to all last minute details I was unable to do myself due to time constraints. I was able to trust and rely on her 100% and she did not let me down she knew exactly what I wanted and needed. Ruby made detailed timelines and checklists for all my events. She helped me plan and execute my wedding ceremony and it was perfect. She was able to offer me affordable vendors for photography, wedding dessert table that had a beautiful fruit and fondu, icecream popsicles/kulfi with customized labels passed out during our wedding that my guest raved about how delicious they were till today, decor for my wedding ceremony, and she was able to offer me multiple options for makeup and hair vendors for my wedding party. Overall ruby was amazing her attention to detail and her genuine kindness and sincerity was what made her so great at what she does. She went above and beyond for me and my events. She was my go to person for all my questions and was able to keep me calm and organized winding down to the events. I definitely recommend to booking her asap for all of your upcoming events. She does it all!
I can not say enough great things about Jessica. If you are planning to get a wedding coordinator get Jessica, my only regret was not having her plan the whole thing and not getting her sooner. My fiancé (now husband) initially refused to even consider getting a coordinator. He reluctantly went with me to interview Jessica and even gave me a pep talk about how we were "just going to talk to her" and not commit to anything. Truthfully I think he was humoring me but had not intention of getting someone because he saw it as paying for someone who wouldn't know us and do things we could do ourselves. (Which trust me you can't ... well you can but you will drive yourself nuts.) So of course we met her and loved her and it was him (not me) who decided to hire her on the spot. We had lots of changes (up until the last minute) and we did a lot of untraditional things so we know we drove her nuts but she always made it happen for us. She recommended our cinematographer who was awesome. She is bright and bubbly but is all business when it comes getting things don't right. We love Jessica and we consider her a friend were so happy we got her and appreciate all the hard work she put into making our day memorable. She took great care of us. It's only sad that Im only planning to have this one wedding or I would definite hire her again and again. Hopefully one day we can be rich enough to throw great big parties and have Jessica coordinate them all. :) Thank you Jessica! We'll be sending you a postcard from our honeymoon.
The Perfectly Event Planning Team was wonderful - I'm a highly organized woman, and didn't think I would need any help for the day of my wedding. However, Jessell offered her services and I'm so happy we hired her. I was able to enjoy our wedding and the entire day and just let Jessell worry about the nitty gritty and the payments and the time-line and getting my husband to where he needed to be! We couldn't have done it without her and don't know that we would have wanted to! I highly recommend Perfectly Event Planning to anyone who needs a little order to their event.
I want to start off by saying that planning a wedding is no easy endeavor and despite how much I wanted to organize and execute every detail out between my fiancé and I, we both knew that we couldn't tackle a project like this without the help of someone. To give you some background, we were both living and working in South Korea while trying to plan a wedding in Los Angeles, Ca. Laura was great to work with! At first I wasn't sure that I was going to add a day-of wedding coordinator to my budget but after my first phone call with Laura, I knew it was essential. She's an expert about event set-up, timelines and catering so I immediately felt at ease and knew that if I hired her I could relax and enjoy my wedding day instead of worrying about the details. Laura and her assistant Jody were essential at our wedding - they gracefully handled everything behind the scenes and made sure it was a perfect day for my husband and I and our guests. My friends and family commented on how great Laura was at pushing everything along throughout the day, and troubleshooting when necessary. Laura's day-of coordination service might just be the most important service that I purchase for my wedding day!
Kelly of Bella B Events was FANTASTIC! She went above and beyond the call of duty for my daughter's wedding and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. She spent so much time with us pre-wedding to make sure all of your wishes were communicated to her and she handled herself as well as our wedding day in the most professional manner. I had the best experience with Victoria. She had amazing ideas for my wedding day. The touch of blues in a silver and white tone theme added elegance and grace, just as I was imagining it. All flowers were really fresh and guests were all eager to take it home after. Despite the great work, I had no issues communicating and from the start of our consultation, I noticed how quickly I was understood with my requests. My bouquet was so full and heavy, so I know I got my money’s worth. Definitely a to-go-to florist with any wants and needs that will be fulfilled beyond expected.
Christine was our day of wedding planner although she spent several months leading up to our wedding day meeting with us in person and answering our emails. At first we considered not going with a planner at all to save money but with almost 200 guests, including children, it was one of the best decisions we made. Christine was knowledgeable, organized, considerate, and listened to our requests without pushing her own vision on us. She made us feel so at ease during our rehearsal and completely stress-free the day of, handling all of the details, coordinating with vendors, and keeping us plus our families on time throughout the day.
