Introduction: I am the only flamenco singer/dancer/choreographer in Southern California who is actually from Andalucia, Spain. The cradle of Flamenco. I've been dancing for over 30 years since age 4. (I'm still in my 30's). I've owned 2 dance studios and taught at Cal Poly Pomona University for 15 years. I have awards for dance and choreography from U.S.A & Spain. I currently own Route 66 Dance Studio in Fontana and La Sole Flamenco Dance Company I love teaching children and adults. I enjoy sharing my passion for dance and instilling that on my students. I start with a proper foundation of proper technique and work them up to combinations and finally amazing choreographies

Yvette -La Sole is a wonderful instructor. I highly recommend her if you are looking to take flamenco classes. She is the real thing! She is from Spain, she has lived there, danced there & even takes a few of her privileged students there in the summer to take classes and experience flamenco the way she has. As a performer there are no words to describe how awesome she is!!! She is currently the artistic director of the flamenco tabalo at Alegria in Long Beach so she can be seen there on Friday nights, plus she is regular on Saturday's at Luna Negra in Pasadena on Saturday nights. Class prices are very reasonable. Studio is very cute, clean & well managed. Class sizes are kept small so she can really focus on each student and monitor their learning. She is especially great with children. Sole has the best children's dance company I have ever seen, they are called Ole y Ole. La Sole gets my highest ratings: 5 stars, 10 out of 10. She's number 1.

Taking classes with yvette is been an awesome experience because i had learn so much from her and i had the oportunity to meet such amazing dancer and person .I am really happy to take classes with her and also im happy that she gave me the opportunity to dance with her.

Yvette Garcia is an awesome Instructor, person, dancer. I would recommend her to anyone willing to learn to dance at any level. She is very professional and honest. She also has a great sense of humor. I really admire her.

Yvette is an outstanding belly dance teacher! She explains the steps slowly in a way that is easy to understand. She also comes up with a lot of new material to learn, which makes class really fun.
