I hired Simon(HandySam) to repair a pocket door that had broken. I didn’t want to open the wall so thought to put in a regular (French) door. When Simon came to look at the project he said it could be repaired for several hundred less that the cost of replacing with a regular door. I opted for this because I prefer the pocket door. He did great work and finished quicker than expected. Highly recommend Simon.

Vlad was fantastic. He communicated effectively over the app and via a phone call before the project. He showed up early and got right to work. We asked him to cut, paint, and install 3 new interior doors in our house. He had to cut the doors to the right size, drill and cut holes for the door knobs and hinges, and paint the doors. He then had to install them on the existing frames and spent a lot of time fine-tuning the adjustment of the hinges so that the doors would swing evenly (without proper adjustments, the doors would have been off-balance and swung open in a lopsided way). After making adjustments, the doors work great, and look very good. My wife and I were very pleased with the job that Vlad did. He offered to come back if we needed any follow up which we haven't needed. We would definitely hire him again for another project!
