Marcel created a delicious menu based on my preferences to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to a hungry group of 15. Incredibly professional and friendly, he has a real passion for cooking. He got a round of applause from our group when he left and then we even brought him back last minute to cook an additional meal for us one day because enjoyed it so much. The food is fresh, healthy and flavorful. We will definitely work with him again.

Pam came over and provided us private instruction in our home on basic cooking skills. Pam did a great job. We will be hiring again this next weekend to help us with preparing for Thanksgiving since it will be our first time cooking everything ourselves. I have to qualify this review first by saying I have worked as a professional cook and have owned a catering business. So I have an eye for and know what works and what doesn't, what can be prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality, and what can be done on sight and off-site with the aim of making sure everything is properly expedited and comes out on time. When I arrived the table was set up nicely set up and decorated. However, we had previously informed Chef that we were going to be 13 and we would like two tables, as some people are uncomfortable with sitting at a table of 13 people. So we had to ask Chef to please separate the two tables. When Bridgette came the day before, my wife mentioned she wanted a table of 6 and one of 7, not two tables pushed together to make 13. There were also no cloth napkins, but paper napkins. I guess assuming that a request for "linens" did not include cloth napkins, only tablecloths. But I digress. Even though this was done in our home where we are well equipped, I still expect anyone coming to prepare food to come fully equipped to meet their needs without having to use the home equipment. This was not the case, as Chef used our Kitchenaid, tongs, and other items. As well, they did not have a serving platter for one of the hors'd'oeuvres. Furthermore, they had to use some of our silverware because they did not bring everything needed (spoons, forks). There were steak knives on the table when we were eating fish, and no other knives. I had no problem with this because, of course, I wanted the event to go smoothly. But other clients might not have been as flexible. Finally, they used all my kitchen towels and had them all wet, from I don't know what- but it's easy enough to bring your own hand towels. As well, because we used the plates on the table for hors'd'ouevres, they had to wash and prepare again for salad plates, as they had expected the hors'd'oeuvres to simply be finger food. Nonetheless, the hors'd'oeuvres-asparagus with prosciutto and chicken bites, or whatever they might have been-still require plates. This delayed serving. More forethought should have been given to how this was all going to go down. Personally, I would have brought the salad all prepped. Because it wasn't prepped, it meant a longer serving delay. The server didn't know the difference between wine and water glasses-some basic protocol needed. The food was excellent and I had several very positive compliments from the guests, this is where they shined, and it was served hot and fresh like it should be. We had a delicious shaved fennel salad with parmesan, and a main course of Blackened Sea Bass with a succotash and roasted potatoes. That is the beauty of preparing on-site. I say this with the caveat, as mentioned earlier, that a few things could have been prepped beforehand without sacrificing quality. This would have allowed the service to flow more quickly and not have such long delays between dishes. As Chef prepared the chocolate mousse on site, some people had to leave before dessert since it took well over 45 minutes between our main course and dessert. While we had agreed that I would supply the chocolate, it I had known it was going to take chef so long to prepare it, I would have suggested it be made beforehand. If I had done this lunch, I would have brought the mousse pre-made. They used up my whole bag of ice too-I would have brought ice. Finally, food left over was taken away and not left with us. I asked the server I f she was going to leave the food to me as she was walking out and she laughed uncomfortably and said no. My assumption is that the client paid for the food, they should get any leftovers. I give Kudos to the Chef for excellent food, but the service was uncomfortably slow and everyone noticed. Finally, the server was inexperienced. Overall, organization and attention to details were lacking. To end on a positive note, they did an excellent job leaving the kitchen just as the found it and were friendly and professional despite the hiccups mentioned. I didn't have to worry about anything. If you are looking for good food, Chef Mumsie does a great job. But please ask that they send you experienced servers, and make sure to point out every possible detail that you can think of, because in my experience, they did not have a checklist or form to check off what you do or don't need for an event.

I am setting up for my 4th company BBQ using Jesse and his family, Moms recipe is awesome and there service is great. They work very hard to make everyone happy. I invite customers, subcontractors and suppliers so nobody is there at one time, Jesse and his mom didn't have a problem staying later and kept on cooking. The rate to stay late was way fair. and cooking for 100,people is no problem

I hired Haute Productions for a private cooking class for a bachelor party event, and we had the best time. Keith was an awesome teacher and host, he made the experience wonderful. Amazingly delicious food. From appetizers to main dishes to desserts, I was delighted with not only the taste, but the lovely presentation. I highly recommend her for any occasion! I try to avoid sweets but could not resist hers. I especially like that she uses fresh, organic, savory ingredients. I don't know my way around the kitchen, but she makes everything look so easy, I want to take a cooking class with her.

Elaine helped my daughter and I with cooking lessons and menu ideas that would work with both of our dietary issues. We spent an afternoon together - through the magic of web cams. We prepared a vegetable lasagna, a spinach and strawberry salad, the most amazing miso soup ever and a squash and edamame treat that was out of this world. The dishes we prepared were made from fresh, organic ingredients that were gluten free, light on salt and most importantly quick and easy to prepare in our busy schedules. Elaine took every culinary and dietary issue of ours and came back with brilliant solutions. Elaine is knowledgeable and approachable with the ability to communicate what she knows without being preachy. I've ordered the Herblends seasonings, and she also has a cookbook. I'm very impressed her knowledge and abilities make great food and show us how she does it.

Chef Beth was amazing in cooking a romantic and delicious Valentine's Day for me and my wife, who could not make it out this year because of our newborn. She addressed every detail, from working with me to put together a fully strict paleo meal that was perfect, including a raw apple pie, to setting up our dining room with candlelight and beautiful place settings. I had tried Heather’s Savory Artichoke Heart, Crispy Sage, Caramelized Onion and Italian Cheese Quiche—and knew it was good; along with her very special (& somewhat decadent) Savory Caramelized Vidalia Onion Cheesecake_Spread, so I ordered both for the holidays. They were made with love and care and brought to my door. I loved having them on hand—as you know there are always more mouths to feed around the holidays! The care and pride she takes in her work really shows. The dip/spread is a real treat—very elegant and rich. The quiche is unlike any we’ve ever had and is truly delicious. I would highly recommend her and her cooking for anyone’s event or home.

Rebekah is a true culinary artist! I am not a vegan but I do try to eat as little meat and dairy products as possible. With that said, it’s not always easy to find dishes that can replace some of the more hearty dishes most people are accustom to. To broaden my horizons I took cooking class with Rebecca and was truly blown away. We prepared three different dishes and all were just as, in not more satisfying than the meat versions! We made a walnut and shitake mushroom lettuce wraps, cauliflower nachos and a vegan cacio di pepi pasta. First off, Rebekah is a great instructor and was very patient and informative explaining the ingredients used and how they help give flavor, color and texture to each dish. Boy did she deliver! Everything was rich in flavor and texture and had a great presentation to boot. I highly recommend everyone explore more vegan options not just because it’s good for the plant and animal treatment, but simply because it’s just delicious!

We hired Jory for a 20 person office party. Jory's cooking was immaculately presented and so flavorful. We wanted delicious food that was organic, sustainable and healthy—and he delivered. He made Lemon caper chicken, a chickpea tzatziki salad with olives, pesto vegetable medley, homemade granola with yogurt and honey, and charred tomato and kale salad with feta. All served in festive silver platters. On top of the food tasting superb, Jory was a great host and fit in seamlessly with our guests whose questions were answered professionally and in good spirits. Using him again. For sure.

Donna prepared for a spiritual retreat a fabulous vegan meal . She prepared a delicious Indian feast, Tikki Masala, basmati rice, appetizers and great side dishes. I definitely recommend her for any Vegan feast . I also loved that she is a Yoga instructor and we had an amazing Yoga class before we enjoyed her meal.

Having had little experience cooking before working with Kim, I didn't know what to expect. But I couldn't be happier with how much I've learned so far. She has taught me to cook really healthy and some of the more indulgent stuff. I've learned specific dishes like homemade gnocchi with pesto and also skills that I can use to cook my own dishes. Knife skills, pan skills and most importantly for me flavor combinations. So even if I'm making a salad or sandwich at home I can take flavor combinations and make them my own. I would recommend her to anyone with any type of food or occasion.
