I had a great experience at the Magnolia Massage & Holistic Health Service (San Francisco). Jennifer was courteous and skillful. Being 7 1/2 month pregnant, I have muscle tension in several areas of my body. Her massage offered a good relief.
Stephen is very energetic and very passionate. After a discussion to explain what I (don't) know about health and nutrition, we were on our way! Some personal and business issues have interrupted the regularity of my training, July will be rough, but soon we'll be on a more regular schedule which I know will bring me closer to my goals.I'm excited!!
My review is for Jessie. She has been an incredible trainer to work out with. She's knowledagble, dedicated and truly cares about the health, wellness and fitness of her clients. She also has the unique ability to train people with limited resources (e.g. my gym doesn't have all the equipment a full gym would have). Additionally, her flexibility makes it really easy to work out with her, given my constantly changing schedule. Overall, Jessie has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her!
Anthony and the rest of the trainers at God's Gym are all outstanding. The gym has an extremely unique atmosphere that focuses on community-building and getting to know your fellow trainees while checking your attitude at the door. Highly recommend Anthony and God's Gym if you want to improve your health and get in shape.
Evan is the best trainer I've had, and I've been through a few. He is a master at designing workouts that are effective, stay interesting, and challenge me just enough to help me move to the next level. He meet his clients where they are, including overweight doubters with weak joints like me. I was out of shape, wary of exercise, and convinced I was too old and broken down to benefit from a real physical fitness regimen. One year later, I'm amazed at the strength and agility I've gained, and I definitely don't mind that I've dropped a couple of clothing sizes, too! I still have a lot of work ahead of me to reach my weight and exercise goals, but now I actually know they are attainable. Between his workouts and extensive nutrition information, he's given me whole new perspective of health and fitness. Regardless of whatever condition you're in at the moment, I feel confident that Evan can help you reach new goals. I can't recommend Evan highly enough.
Kandis is outstanding!! She is super professional, timely, well prepared and knowledgeable!! She is also very warm and caring. I hired a personal coach several years back and had a not so great experience. My experience with Kandis is wonderful!! I so look forward to our sessions!! I have tried so many diets and exercise options but never stayed motivated long enough to get results until I met john. He has completely changed my mentality and has been an exceptional motivater!!! I have couple months training with Armando and I totally believe I made the right decision. During the last 5 years Ive been putting up some weight and no feeling too proud about it, especially because Im short and weight started to cause some foot and knee pain. Ive always postponed work out, it was not my priority but after training with Armando, I feel like I need to go for a session every day so I can get my Feeling good dose. Armandos positivism makes my work out enjoyable even though he pushes me and takes all my energy with every exercise. Armando has motivated me to keep going and give 100% every time we meet. He is professional, he listens, analyzes every piece of information I give him and he even suggests a relax/stretch session to get rid of stress I bring from work. When I first started, he analyzed my measurements, goals, posture, time and health and came up with a plan to target my problematic areas. I have only couple months training and I can see a few changes already. I feel more energetic and with the desire of keep going. Armando makes sure I have the right posture/form and execute moves in a proper way so that I can get the best from my workout and benefit from every move. I thank Armando for his support and guidance in every session and especially for pushing to keep a good nutrition. I would recommend Armando if you are serious about your work out. He is a great trainer; you will get the best of his knowledge and enthusiasm in every session.
Vicki is incredible to work with. I am so grateful I found her! i Wish I had found her years ago. I feel great and have seen huge results that I couldn't achieve on my own, and it has only been a month. What I like most about working with Vicki is she is so knowledgeable about the body, nutrition, and health, and she always explains the why.

Hiring Gretchen was one of the best moves I made for losing weight. I had spent many years crash dieting, eating low calorie diets in an attempt to lose weight, only to gain it back quickly and pack even more pounds. She quickly detailed a meal plan for me to adhere to that was nutritious and filling, also giving me details on how to deal with eating at restaurants. Yes, it will be work on your end to measure and cook, but it's made my life easier not having to think about what I need to eat. My main battle with eating has always been mental and Gretchen really was there to coach me through my toughest moments of where I just wanted to give up ( Meal planning through the holidays was tough!) The weekly checkins were what I needed to get through this process knowing that I had someone that I had to report to (Makes me less tempted to eat unhealthy.) If you need a coach that will help set up a healthy sustainable lifestyle for you, I recommend Gretchen.
I worked with Monique for 6 months. During that time, she helped me with my nutritional goals, integrating cardio and yoga/stretching workouts. I lost about 5lbs and gained core strength & muscle. I'm now in the best shape of my life. Monique is very pleasant to work with and provides various types of heath and fitness coaching, depending on your goals. Highly recommended!

I have worked with Jason for several years, he is very professional and personable as well. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding fitness and strives for perfection while improving the overall health of his clients, Jason's down to earth approach is inviting and subtle which allows for a productive environment for physical training, only matched by his aggressiveness at taking on exercises, I thoroughly enjoy working with Jason.
When I first worked with Nick, he introduced me to a short warm up and a workout routine. I remembered at that time, I got twenty minuets into that workout and I remember getting a bit dizzy and winded. Nick noticed this right away and encouraged me to rest a bit so I wouldn't pass out in the middle of the gym. After spending two meetings with Nick, he was able to adapt the workouts to better prepare my body for all the physical work it needed to do. With Nick's help, I was able to run a 5K in about a month and a 10K in four months. What made Nick different from other trainers I have had in my life was that not only did he give me a workout routine that I was able to stick to and follow, he taught me the importance of nutrition to help ensure I had the energy to get through the more rigorous workout programs. Even though Nick is no longer my trainer, he still checks up on me to make sure that I am on track with my health goals and if life is treating me well.
Great trainer, great guy! Knowledgeable and focused on the client's needs for best health and improvement. And his gym is clean and beautiful with lots of well-maintained equipment, in a great location with parking, beach and park access. An excellent choice, so glad I have worked with him for years.
Man, where do I begin. Since day one Dante has always followed through on his promises. His words were, "in two weeks you will feel it, it four weeks you will see it, and in six weeks you will hear it!" When I heard someone tell me that I'd lost weight, that's when u knew I had invested in myself! I've been working out for years on my own, since I played football in high school actually. I know a lot, but Dante showed me a new world of fitness, and a whole new way of life in the gym. His workouts never repeat, and his exercises are his own. He's definitely a coach and a motivator. He pushes you! That's exactly what I needed. A push! I would never push myself the way he pushes me. I highly recommend him as you're coach.
