I loved my interactive, online cooking class with Chef Patsy! Before I get started, I must say I was extremely impressed with the integrated video conferencing service that Trainasium uses for their online class offerings. The connection was amazing and my screen didn't freeze once during the class. Just a side note for anyone not sure about interactive online cooking classes. I have never made a pie from scratch before and Chef Patsy took us step by step on how to prepare the pie dough and the filling. She gave each and every one of us a warm greetings as we entered the online class. I loved the fact that we could ask Chef Patsy questions during class and have her take a look at our mixture if we were not sure about something. It was like having Chef Patsy in my own kitchen. It was the cooking lesson without the headache. While waiting for the pie to finish cooking, Chef Patsy amazed us with various ways to use left over pie dough and different pie decorating techniques. It was so amazing to be able to celebrate with Chef Patsy and the other students once our pie was finished. My sense of accomplishment was through the roof at that point. The cost of the cooking class was way less than going to a traditional cooking class and I loved the fact that I was in my kitchen which made me so much more confident while attempting this creation. The part I loved the most about this interactive online cooking lesson was that I was able to do it with my sister-in-law! I loved being able to see Chef Patsy and all of the other students that live in different places right from my Laptop. I will definitely be taking more online cooking lessons with Chef Patsy.

I have had the pleasure of enjoying Francesco's cooking and must comment. Having lived in Italy for a year, I must state that his food was authentic, flavorful, and just as delicious as the food I ate in Italy, if not better. His lasagna and egglant parmigiana are truly to die for.
Chef Stephani is simply amazing. Her creations are mouth watering, and her passion for cooking shines through in every meal she prepares. Chef Stephani has shown her versatility in flawlessly executing various types of events for my family, from small intimate parties to large showers and receptions. Working with Chef Stephani is easy; She is very personable and will take the time to listen to your individualized preferences. She has always exceeded my expectations, and she will yours as well.
Virginia has been a life saver! I had a baby a month ago and have two other kids. I needed some fresh and delicious home cooked meals delivered during my maternity time. We do the menu planning together and she sends suggestions based on our needs. Currently we have vegetarian family in town and she's been making delicious dishes for the whole family.
We had a phenomenal Thanksgiving Dinner prepared and delivered by BAPS catering. We were expecting about 20 people for our holiday dinner and BAPS catering delivered a wonderful meal that everyone loved. The turkey was moist, the vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and pumpkin cheesecake were delicious. Needless to say, we had enough food to satisfy everyone and still had some great Thanksgiving leftovers. We would definitely recommend BAPS catering for everyone who wants tasty food cooked just the way you like. Thanks for helping us make our holiday dinner such a success!
Our (almost teen) daughter has been participating in classes with Ashlee and we've seen a tremendous shift in her. Specifically, Ashlee has inspired her to prepare new healthy foods for herself, she has grown in physical strength through the various exercises that the circles classes offer, and our daughter's heightened self awareness and gratitude are an amazing foundation for the rocky teen years. Thank YOU Ashlee, and Circles Health Coaching for creating an amazing and inspiring space for our youth, for teaching them life skills, and how to find happiness through food, fun and self empowerment!

We hired Kari Rich to prepare a special meal in our Point Loma home for a party of nine guests last night. We were so extremely impressed with the food (divine!) and ease of planning that we had to share! Kari is very professional, punctual, organized, easy to communicate with, and most importantly, makes amazing food. She is experienced and has worked locally for years with one of San Diego's most successful chefs/restauranteur. She charged per hour for her time spent shopping, prepping, cooking, and cleaning (in our case it was a total of 4 hrs), plus the cost of food. We highly recommend Chef Kari if you are considering hiring a private chef for a small or large party. She was truly a delight to deal with and everyone LOVED the food she thoughtfully prepared.
What is great about working with Steven is that you can tell him what your looking for and your needs and he comes up with the menu. I needed a luncheon catered and said I wanted an Italian feast and on person is vegetarian. Steven put together a menu that satisfied everyone even making the most stubborn man say "That was good. Really good"! His cooking got rave reviews from everyone. I will definitely be using Now We're Cookin' for other events!

I am a cooking instructor. I like teaching people how to cook in order for them to create restaurant-quality meals for themselves or friends and family.
We arrived at the Fishbone Kitchen where Chef Bear is the executive chef and were immediately served many nice dishes of fresh ceviche while we waited for our class. Once in the kitchen, we learned many cool techniques for knife skills and other techniques like oyster shucking and removing the skin from a salmon without using a knife! Chef Bear was informative and hospitable. The only reason I am removing a star is because the kitchen we were in was very small (he did have a larger kitchen for us but the location fell through at the last moment) and took away from the experience for some of the participants due to it being difficult to see or hear -- positioning and noise level was a culprit. But all in all it was a very cool experience at a very reasonable rate. Chef Bear did everything he could to customize the class for us according to our interests, needs and experience levels. I would recommend him.
We hired Brian to cook for a group of 22 for our friends 30th B'day party. Leading up to the event, communication was fantastic - Brian was responsive, communicative, and flexible with regard to logistics, menu selection, etc. He was happy to accommodate our requests, but able to offer informed, thoughtful recommendations in areas where we deferred to him, which we really appreciated since this was our first time hiring a chef for an event. During the party Brian and his assistant were efficient and competent - everything ran ahead-of-schedule, and the food was fantastic! All our guests have asked for his card to hire him for their special events, and we look forward to having Brian cook for us again!
