Bryan M. says, "While I did not work one-on-one with Ryan, I did take vocal lessons from StookU for about 3 months with another instructor. I was not impressed, as I felt like they just wanted my money. Each week, we’d just sing songs that I’d get to pick. We never went over proper singing techniques, how to bridge the gap in singing, etc. I felt like no progress was made because nothing was ever taught. I found a cheaper instructor who’s much more knowledgeable elsewhere."See more

My 9 yr old son has been working with Ryan for nearly 2 years and it continues to surprise me how quickly he has learned to play comfortably, read lead sheets and has developed even a bit of style with both guitar and bass. He is improving day by day and has been motivated to practice, which is usually a challenge! Didn't work, only picked up bad habits. Heard about Thumbtack, figured I would give it a shot. There were several instructors to choose from. I choose Jeff because of his introduction "Learn Music From a Pro". That he is "A Pro". Jeff makes lessons interesting and easy to follow. He is patient, always on time. There were several times I was unable to attend a session and he made sure I could make up my time. I found Jeff to be very patient, Professional with his student's. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to pass on to his students. I'm truly grate full I choose Jeff Brent. He, without a doubt is a "Pro" and enjoys what he does.
