About
Over the last 25 years I have worked hard at my craft and studied the art of pitching and hitting. At the age of 10, I set a goal of receiving a free college education through my baseball talents. Hard work and dedication allowed me to achieve my goal and I hope to pass on my knowledge of the game to our youth. Seeing the growth of a young ball player and watching his confidence develop, on and off the baseball diamond is our focus. I also enjoy teaching respect for the game and developing sportsmanship, while setting goals collectively and achieving them as a team.

Coach Ron is awesome. He really takes his time with my 11 year old daughter who is extremely shy and has social anxiety. He is patient and gives great tips for her to remember certain things during different drills. She has improved so much in softball after just a few lessons with him. I highly recommend him. One on one lessons are the way to go if you want to help your child excel in baseball/softball. You can’t get this type of quality work through group practices alone.

I have been taking my 11 year old son to Coach Ron for 3 months, it has been worth every amount of money and time that we have spent at Coach Ron great backyard facility. Yardwork Baseball is not some fancy facility with over price MLB coaches who might have been great player but lack real skills when it comes to coaching. I know because my son has had three ex MLB player coaches, and my son showed very little improvement with their coaching. Since my son has been coached by Ron, his pitching and batting have improved dramatically. My son has gone from throwing 2 different types of pitches fairly good to throwing 4 pitches really good. His velocity, locating, what and when to throw specific types of pitching have greatly improved. My sons batting has gone from a good batter to a very strong batter. Coach Ron not only made my son a stronger batter, also smarter at the plate. Ron teaches him what pitches to look for under different pitch counts. We have watched older Travel Ball players coming to Yardwork Baseball, all with very positive things to say about Coach Ron. I agree 100% with the other reviews, but one thing those reviews are lacking, is Coach Ron isn’t just great when it comes to improving the skills of young little league players. Coach Ron has the skills, knowledge, expertise, and temperament to make major improvement to all ages of baseball players. From the very young to high school and older travel ball players. My recommendation is to take advantage of Coach Ron extremely positive attitude, go to one of Coach Ron's very low 50% off first lesson. The improvement that you will see, you’ll be glad that you gave Coach Ron a try.

We found Coach Ron when the baseball season started. My son practiced pitching and batting with him, and made steady progress. He is a responsible and fun coach. At the beginning, my son was not happy to train with him. Because this is my son's first private training for baseball, which needs him to focus on practice for longer time. As they worked together, Coach Ron convinced my son. After the season finished, my son continued practicing with him. Coach Ron has a batting cage and a pitching area, so my son practiced pitching and batting every time. He also uses video analysis to assist the training so my son knows how to improve his skill. The price of Coach Ron is very reasonable, we subscribed monthly plan, so about $20/hour. And he is flexible about time, if we can't make the class, we can schedule a makeup.
