We cannot thank Sassafras Events enough for the outstanding work they put into our wedding. They were there with us from the beginning- I wasn't someone who'd had my dream wedding already planned out. I didn't have a clear vision yet of a theme, style, venue, or even type of gown that I'd wanted. I went to sassafras events with only one thing I was positive about; I wanted to be surrounded by nature and the outdoors when I was married. To expand on that note, Tamara introduced me to Pinterest! It was the absolute best way to get a visual of the ideas I had surrounding our wedding. I spent time exploring, being inspired and pinning things both my husband I were excited about. Tamara was able to look at those and determine, spot on, a theme that we both loved.
Tamara can do it all! She was there with me and my bridesmaids when I picked out my wedding gown - it only took 3 dresses to find the one :) She had vendors lined up, had all the research done on them and was able to find great fits for us. She was on top of it when it came to money management and stayed well within our set budget for the wedding.
I was a hands on, DIY bride. Sassafras Events offered multiple workshops that allowed my friends, family and I to bond over crafting. We painted crates, wedding signs & mason jars, created a Mr. & Mrs. pennant, made escort and table cards, folded paper flowers, sewed pillows, and even designed our own floral arrangements. These workshops gave us time to complete wedding projects and also have a ton of fun with everyone that was there.
During the wedding planning process, my husband was finishing up his last year of Law School and then studying day and night for the BAR exam. Needless to say, he did not have a whole lot of time to help with things wedding related. Sassafras Events made sure to keep him as involved as they could with his time limitations. They stepped in and created a loving and less stressful environment for us.
They did a flawless job on coordination the day of the wedding- the only things we needed to worry about were to make sure we ate, got dressed and showed up to the venue. All vendor questions went to Sassafras staff, and there was a clear point person on the big day that handled any hiccups that came along the way.
So again, we owe many, many thanks to Tamara Williams and her staff at Sassafras Events for the spectacular work done! We would happily recommend them to everyone we know :)
