Thomas listened to my desired teaching style, and coordinated the lessons to match. He seems to understand his students’ best environment for knowledge absorption, and can adapt to accommodate. So far, so GREAT!May 1, 2019Verified
Thomas did an exceptional job transcribing a song for us. He was very fast, receptive to edits, and overall did a great job.Jul 3, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is for a single, weekly lesson, usually either 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Some music is often provided, but students may also be asked to pick up some books to work out of. I will always provide specific recommendations on what to pick up based on your skill level, speed, etc. After the first lesson, each student will also received a customized curriculum with goals for us to work towards. Referral bonuses are also available!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?New students come from a wide variety of backgrounds with a range of age and musical experience. For students completely new to music, we quickly jump into learning some entertaining basics and work from there to strengthen the student's fundamentals and understanding of music. Before long, a student is working in a variety of genres and styles, many specifically picked by the student!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?M.M. Film Scoring, Seattle Film Institute (included music theory, music business, orchestration, conducting, and music technology courses); B.M. Composition, George Mason University (included performance training, music theory, pedagogy, history, and conducting courses)
