Dave's been my trainer for over five years now. I attend his Morning Crunch Boot Camp in Culver City. The sessions are a nice mix of traditional boot camp-like tasking and working at your own pace (aka listening to your body). His workouts mostly focus on strengthening your core which I like. Best of all he's got a good sense of humor and keeps it light so the workout flies and I feel good after every session. Thanks Dave!
Seanah is one of the most loving accepting people you'll meet. She cares deeply for everyone and she knows her stuff! I have taken many yoga classes with her and they are outstanding. I am already very fit but Seanah has truly challenged me and I've become stronger, more flexible and more at peace than I thought possible! Side note, I was not into yoga at all before her classes. I was doing crossfit, boot camp, running... She'll do great work with you no matter what your background is.
I've definitely had my share of trying out different trainers/gyms/workout DVDs/group classes/boot camps, you name it and I've done it. Throw out those workout DVDs and cancel all your memberships. Trust me when I say Manuk is the one and only trainer you will need. I have been training with him for about a year now a couple times a week. Manuk really took the time on our first meeting to get to know me and my life style so he can plan a workout accordingly. He asked me my daily routine, food and drink Intake, job, what my goals were, etc.. Didn't miss a point to give me the best results. Manuk has given me results within this past year that I didn't even imagine were possible. He made sure he altered what I ate throughout the day (in a healthy and easy transition) to see quicker results. He is honest with you, well educated in the field, motivating, and his humor definitely is a huge plus!! Makes working out fun and not such a serious, in your face yelling kind of a workout.
The boot camp that Tony offers is awesome.I've tried going to the gym,diet pills and I never got the results that I wanted. And I decided to start Tony's boot and in 3 months 3 days a week not only did I loose weight but my body was toned.
This is my first boot camp- ever. I was a little apprehensive at first but with an upcoming family wedding I decided I wanted to give it a try and see if it really works. Imagine my surprise to find out I lost 6 1/2 inches and several pounds within the first 3 weeks! Daunye is a fabulous instructor - she gives attention to each person making sure they are doing the exercises properly- she answers any and all questions I have regarding nutrition or ways to modify exercises and she motivates and encourages us to push through and be successful. I have recommended this program to several friends.
I highly recommend this training camp for people looking to improve both their physical and mental health and well-being. Andre does an amazing job incorporating circuit training into both learning and improving boxing skills and presenting an overall great workout. I never end a session with Andre feeling like I could have gotten more out of my workout! For anyone looking for a lifestyle changing workout -- this is it!
Susie led a boot camp that I participated in for about 4 months. She was awesome! I never got bored with our workouts because it seemed we never did the same thing twice. She's got a plethora of workout ideas. She was also able to modify any exercise to meet various levels of fitness. She's a great trainer who will push you through your complaining and get you to your goal!
Yesterday (7/17/14) me & my girls finished our 4 week Bridal Boot Camp sessions with Stephanie & Jim. We had a total of 8 sessions, each one hour long including warm up's & cool down. With my wedding quickly approaching I felt that I needed help with my work out routine & I'm very happy to have found them. They gave me so much support & encouragement & they never let me give up on myself. They really made sure that we did each exercise right so that we would get the best out of it & so that we wouldn't get hurt & they showed up for each & every session. I'm actually looking into doing another 4 weeks with them because I definitely see results & feel so much better about myself! I won't forget what Stephanie said during our last cool down session, she said "Just let go of the fear & do it, we won't let you get hurt, we won't let you fall." It was tough but fun & totally worth it, they're awesome trainers!!
I first contacted Sean two months ago after hearing rave reviews about him from a friend. At first I was a little reluctant to try any type of personal training or boot camp style class, because I had a TERRIBLE experience with another Pasadena boot camp. I decided to give it a go and am glad I did! I have been participating in his semi private training classes 3 days/ week for two months and I feel great. Mind you, I'm 35 years old and came in weighing 203lbs at 5'5, not exactly a small girl. Now, I'm 170lbs and can fit into the same size jeans I once wore in high school. I personally don't find working out enjoyable, but with Carla's motivation and her group structured work outs, I found the experience a step toward changing my lifestyle. Carla is the perfect balance between Boot Camp Instructor and a motivational friend. She emotionally invests in her clients because she too has started from where we all are since day one with her. She invests all of her energy in trying to not only make you determine to change your body image, but educate you on healthy life style practices. She went above and beyond and tailored work outs to where you wanted to focus your efforts on. I would definitely recommend her to all future friends looking for a change in their health.
Maddie was my boot camp instructor and Pilates instructor. She is fabulous. I have worked with her for years which has meant that she has seen me through injuries, strength, and weakness and always knows how to adjust her motivation and her exercises to make sure that my workout is safe but challenging. Maddie actually cares beyond the time in the studio - she checks in, follows up, and never upsells or makes you feel bad. I appreciate her honesty and toughness but also her kindness. She is a hard worker and I will go back to her and Movement Integrity time and time again. She rocks.
I attended workout boot camps for So Live The Trainer. I must say that it was a challenge but so worth it. At times when participants felt like giving up, So Live would join in on the exercise and encourage them to push to the finish. Any other trainer would coach from the sideline as encouragement but So Live gets down with you to show he is there and supportive. That is something that is needed out of a trainer and he had no problem doing it. Awesome!
Brook's so fantastic; I'm not sure where to start! She found me struggling in the gym with a frozen shoulder and getting no where, with the shoulder or my physique. She subsequently worked me through my frozen shoulder issues and on to prepare me for my wedding, upon which I have never felt stronger or probably looked better. Shes now helping my husband with his damaged shoulder issues. She wastes no time standing around talking and she really focuses on the muscles you're supposed to be engaging and why. There's no boot camp style where you're mindlessly running around not really focusing or strengthening anything. Its a highly focused work out where I come away sore and stronger every time. I cant recommend her enough!

I love the game of golf and love teaching. What I do differently is that I teach the game backwards, from putting chipping, 1/2 swing, 3/4 swing, and full swing. This way, you will have the right swing path.
