I found 3 Little Birds on Thumbtack and instantly fell in love with the way Jessica and Dustin communicated and worked with me and my fiancé! We hired them as day of wedding planners and got an initial meet &a greet, timeline meeting, wedding rehearsal and the day of. Here's what makes them 5 stars. Dustin is an absolute gem and has the creative view to help pull the wedding day together. He used bridesmaid bouquets as extra decor, reused ceremony flowers for the reception and helped with every detail including me asking him to move some things around when they didn't look exactly how I pictured them. He checked in throughout the night and was amazing! Jessica is everything you could ever want in a wedding planner and she is absolutely wonderful. Organized. Thorough. Great communication. But honestly the entire wedding day and night she kept asking me and my husband if needed anything. She bustled my dress for me, brought us appetizers and drinks and honestly made me feel like a princess. I had no worries the entire night! I highly recommend you have them stay to help clean up, it was a god send. Thank you Jessica and Dustin!!
Erika was my wedding coordinator for my wedding in July of 2013. I found her to be very organized, prompt, creative and extremely knowledgeable. She truly helped to make my wedding a success. I have friends who are still discussing the professionalism of my wedding coordinator and how everything ran smoothly the night of my wedding.
There aren't enough positive things to say about Sanaz. She is like that fairy godmother that you just want to have around to perfect and make pretty everything in your life, especially your wedding. She goes above and beyond for the all the details she manages. She literally keeps you on task from the minute you start working with her to the end of the wedding, and even post-wedding. She has an inclusive network of vendors and artists and she has a great taste in arts. She helped up to go through the whole process and gave us advice on choosing the right vendors. She also knows local artists. She introduces us to a ceramic artist for our favors and she made cute ornaments as our favors. I strongly recommend Sanaz for wedding planning.
LCA Events planned my wedding shower and it was AMAZING!!! They quickly grasped the look that I wanted and pulled it off so well. I let them take care of everything from beginning to end, and I was blown away when I walked in to my own wedding shower. They really understood my vision and brought it to life!! It was one of my happiest days. Everything looked gorgeous and was well organized. One of the planners, Mariam even emceed the shower! She did it with great enthusiasm and fun. Everyone loved it! My guests were talking about the design of my shower and the fun and creative games that we played for a long time after. It was such a memorable and special day, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I just showed up and everything was taken care of the way that I would've done it. To the t! I have Mariam and Nare to thank for that. I know for sure that they will be planning my upcoming parties! They're one of the best! And so friendly and easy to get along with!!
I was hesitant to get a planner at first because we were working with a very small budget, but Ira was (is) absolutely amazing. She worked within our budget, helped my plans materialize and made my wedding day beyond incredible. She is such a hard worker, so kind, and very knowledgeable for the planning industry. Tami and Lauren were the coordinators for my wedding in October 2014. They were FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about how invaluable they were on this super important day. They truly made it a seamless experience and took an immense amount of pressure off me and my mom who was so nervous about things not coming together in time or going right on the day of the wedding. They went the extra mile for us when the didn't have to. Tami was especially experienced in getting us to consider so many details we hadn't even thought about because we were so overwhelmed and she made sure nothing was left unnoticed. It was these special touches that contributed to the overall unique experience of our wedding! Having been a wedding coordinator myself in the past, I know how critical it is to be organized and thorough. I really appreciated this about Tami and I love the calm, friendly nature of both her and Lauren. One aspect that truly stood out was their ability to personalize our wedding so it was a true reflection my husband and I. Put all this together with Lauren's incredible talent in creative decor concepts and I know they can make any event a huge success!
Susan from Eventive Moments was our wedding coordinator for our 9/30/17 wedding in Pasadena. We do not have enough amazing things to say about her, but will try to be as helpful to others in this review. Susan was the following to us, 1. Organized, detail-oriented, punctual, experienced -- Her experience shows as she she kept us on track during the planning of our wedding, did not overlook any details, and was there for everything (rehearsal, setting up, cleaning up, etc.). 2. Professional and proactive -- Susan went above and beyond in the planning and day-of. A lot of things went off track at the wedding (none being her fault) like the caterers running late, the fire alarm going off, the EMCEE being clueless, however, NONE of the guests had ANY idea!! Every challenge that came up, Susan handled it gracefully and immediately. This is because Susan remained professional, calm, collected, and thought fast on her feet to improvise and get everything back in order without a hair out of place. 3. Creative and generous -- Not only did Susan keep all the big ticket items in line, but she was a tremendous help to us with smaller items, too, like party favors, seating charts, photos, and decor. She did not hesitate to help us print the seating chart or photos when we panicked two nights before and told her we didn't have time. She's incredibly crafty and creative, so everything she worked on was beautiful. 4. Talented -- Susan made sure the venue was set up immaculately. Everything looked beautiful and our guests were raving. She pays close attention to what you have envisioned and nails it. 5. Trustworthy, Kind, Passionate -- From the first phone call, we knew we wanted to hire Susan because you can tell she is passionate about her work and we felt immediate trust that she would do everything she could for us to make the day perfect. She is so kind and caring, and listens. She will go out of her way for you because she cares. We highly recommend Eventive Moments, we will be telling all our friends and family about Susan + Co and how monumental she was in making our wedding the most special day ever!
Last year I hired Steven to assist me with planning my wedding at the Edward Dean Museum. I had initially thought that I could plan my wedding without any outside help, but with starting a new job and moving to a new city, I had so much on my plate that I finally contacted Steven, and it was easily the best money I have spent on the wedding. Steven was in constant contact throughout the planning, and took over communication with my vendors, which was a huge weight off my shoulders. He laid out exactly what he needed from me so that I could easily provide necessary information. He even saved the day by borrowing a large cupcake stand from a friend of his for my wedding cupcakes :) Steven is very friendly, and always professional. The only regret I have about him is that I did not hire him sooner, because I feel like I would have stressed less! I would highly recommend him to anyone planning any type of party, because you know that it will be well put together.
I first met Chanda when I was a bride's maid at my friend's wedding. I was impressed with how she organized and handled everything, very professional and also very sweet and attentive to your needs. When it is time for my own wedding in June 2014. I reached out to Chanda first. My wedding was a mostly DIY, I did most of the decorations my self with help of family and friends. Chanda was able to work from my vision boards, sketches and put those elements together as I imagined. She also helped coordinate with all our vendors on the day of, and trouble shoot when it's needed from a loose garter (lol) to handling an emergency (a guest fell into a water fixture) So, whether you need a full service wedding planning or Day of coordinator, I would really recommend Chanda.
Gina Garrett is an event planning genius!! After working with Gina on my own events and attending others she has planned for friends and associates, I cannot imagine working with anyone else. I refuse to work with anyone else. She can handle small parties for 25 people or formal events for 800. I have seen Gina convert an empty warehouse into a dreamy and sparkling evening gala for 500 people that somehow was beautiful and grand, but also provided nooks and lounges for more intimate conversation. The wedding that she planned for a friend was equally impressive. Gina translated the bride’s Pinterest ideas and limited budget into a stunning outdoor wedding - the bride was in joyful tears because every detail of her wedding day exceeded her wildest dreams. That’s what Gina does – she takes the ideas and dreams of the client, and turns them into reality. She handles every challenge and demand with professionalism and promptly, and will keep the client updated on progress and issues. She personally takes on all the fuss and stress of event planning so the client doesn’t have to. Work with Gina once, and you’ll never look for another event planner!
Valerie is amazing at what she does. She helped me with my October wedding and alleviated so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding; she communicated with all the vendors, decorated the ceremony and reception space, made sure everything was on time and in order, and helped make our special day run as smoothly as possible. Valerie is very personable, creative, and easy to work with. It is evident that she truly cares about her job and wants nothing but the best for the bride and everyone involved. She is very responsive and continually ensures that the bride is happy. I would recommend Valerie Chilson to anyone looking for a wedding planner; she helped make my whole wedding experience feel effortless, refined, and fun.
Jessica is absolutely amazing. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without her and things only went smoothly because she was there to ease things along for my wedding. I remember one issue where the day of event coordinator (she came with the venue and there was no getting around it) was yelling at the DJ while I was getting my hair done and I just l looked at her and she said "I will take care of it". I literally didn't have to worry much, if at all, as she was right there with me every step of the way. I was also finishing college at the time so I already had a lot on my plate and I felt like she was guiding me through the whole process. I would definitely refer to anyone who needs an event planner/designer.
Christine was our day of wedding planner although she spent several months leading up to our wedding day meeting with us in person and answering our emails. At first we considered not going with a planner at all to save money but with almost 200 guests, including children, it was one of the best decisions we made. Christine was knowledgeable, organized, considerate, and listened to our requests without pushing her own vision on us. She made us feel so at ease during our rehearsal and completely stress-free the day of, handling all of the details, coordinating with vendors, and keeping us plus our families on time throughout the day. Thanks to Christine, our wedding turned out even better than we could have imagined.
Lisa planned my Bridal Shower and it was amazing! I was more than happy with the way it turned out! My colors for the wedding were blue and pink and she made sure to incorporate them in all the decorations. The decor was tasteful and beautiful. No detail was left behind. She took the time to get to know me and what I liked, and made sure to include that throughout the party. The food was catered from a healthy and fresh company (so important to me!). She picked the perfect menu that was both light and delicious, ideal for a group of ladies. As the Bride, she didn't let me worry about a thing and got all my Bridesmaids involved. She worked well with members of my family in making sure that the event went off without a hitch. The most memorial part of the party was when she interviewed me and had previously interviewed my husband and recorded his answers on a little recorder. Everyone got a kick out of listening to my hubby answer the questions and seeing how our answers were the same and sometimes very different ha! At the end of the interview, my husband came in with a bouquet of roses. It was such a surprise and brought tears to my eyes. I loved the way she incorporated him into the event. It was such a beautiful day and definitely one I will remember forever. Thank you Lisa for making it so special!
