- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hiring a Chef and his team to execute a dinner or cocktail party at a private venue is always expensive. Make sure you hire the best, our prices are just above the average but the quality of what we do goes above and beyond our client’s expectations
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is our duty to understand what our client is looking for. We offer a sample menu based on what you are envisioning and what we can offer and adjust as needed. From there and until the event is finished we take care of everything and make the process as smooth and effortless as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The entire team at Matiz Catering has plenty of training on private events and Michelin Star experience. Our executive Chef Jimmy Matiz has extensive experience in world class gastronomy: -Culinary Arts Associate Degree at Gato Dumas -Hospitality and business management at Art Institute of Vancouver -Science of cooking at Harvard University through EdX -Mediterranean ingredients and modern techniques at University of Barcelona
