I'm currently working with Eric to gain strength and flexibility (and improve my overall health). He has been great! I've been seeing him twice a week for about a month, and look forward to continuing training with him. A couple of things that I really appreciate about Eric and his training sessions: - He was courteous of my budget from the start and let me know what was realistic to do within my budget - He explains every exercise in detail (proper form, where you should feel muscles working, how a spotter would interact with the client). This is important for me, because being a girl and not growing up in a gym I had no clue where to even begin. So this is laying a good foundation for the long run even beyond our training sessions together. Also, it makes the client feel more comfortable when they know in advance where the spotter will be assisting at all times. - Eric is always on time. Even at 5:30 AM. He has a client before me at 4:30 AM and is there for that too. - He's been very kind and flexible when I have to travel for work and is willing to adjust the days that we meet so that I still get my two sessions a week in. - He is looking out for you in the long run. There are so many times that I feel discouraged because I can't quite complete a set or my form isn't right because I get tired. He is always quick to remind me that those things come in time as I build up strength. And it's true-- each time I can do a few more and do it better than before. He sets realistic goals and knows that things do not come over night and he wants you to realize that too. Overall, I'm really pleased with how things have been going. It's not a fast process for some of us, but since first beginning I have seen that I have improved in strength and that my body is shaping up. He's a great guy and knows what he is doing. I appreciate that he uses a style that incorporates basic weight lifting and body strength exercises, things that I could realistically do at home or a gym to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Gil was an incredibly effective and motivating trainer. With his extensive educational background and understanding of balancing the weights, with diet, and cardio - I find training with Gil to already have significant effects not only on my body but also my overall health. I also appreciate the constant communication even when I'm not around and traveling, making sure to keep me on track and keep my diet in line with the overall goals of my training. he's a great guy and couldn't recommend him more to anyone out there that wants to get into great shape, better shape, or really just kickstart a healthier lifestyle.
I have known Gilbert both in the clinic setting and home visits. He has helped me before surgeries with strength exercises and after surgery with range of motion and building up endurance, fall prevention, balance control along with core muscle development. Professionalism and friendliness are his strong characteristics. Gilbert knows how to schedule for home visits even when he is going to be a few minutes late he will call to inform me. I have no criticism of Gilbert and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
Jamie Hanton is the best Personal Trainer I have ever met. He is incredibly knowledgable in all areas of fitness and nutrition, thete has never been a question I've asked him that he couldn't answer. I feel like I learn something new every single session about movement/technique/positive or negative effects of different foods or drinks/how hormone imbalances effect our body's appearance etc. We have trained consistently now for two years, three times a week and I have never been stronger or fitter than I am now. I had numerous body challenges that he had to work with and slowly and safely correct, four children under the age of 8, three c-sections, severe back & pelvis weakness and he has pushed me to the limit every time, every workout and I have never gotten injured which is crucial for me. We do a lot of boxing training, mitt work, heavy bag work, drilling combos, lifting weights, every session is different. We are constantly evolving, each session we will push it a little more and it's all functional movement that I carry on throughout my day (squatting down to pick up the kids instead of bending over and potentially straining my back for instance). He is the voice inside my head at the store or when I eat out as he has taught me so much about what is actually in some of our "food" , why certain foods are trigger foods etc, sometimes I'll send him a photograph of something and check with him is it something that I should be eating or drinking. He walks the walk and talks the talk. He is extremely fit, trains every day and eats cleanly. He is fantastic and he is a very nice person. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Moreover, asides from seeing results, every session is incredibly pleasant. Yes, it's hard work, but the hour goes by fast because the lessons are fun! Everyday is something new. Malachy is a great trainer and easy to work with! Very flexible with your schedule too. I learned a lot from him, and I'm able to use the workouts he's taught me on my own.
I underwent 5 months of solid bedrest in Cedars-Sinai Hospital due to losing my pregnancy & baby prior to term. I spent 5 frightening months in a special bed cranked UPSIDE DOWN. No walking to potty or shower, just pee in a bedside bucket and wash cloth cleanse. MUSCLE ATROPHY started to creep in from such long duration of not using muscles to move around. I never thought I'd get back in shape!!! Inez's Kick2Fit class & witty encouragement got me back in my jeans within 2 months and eventually back to "high school" weight, which I hadn't reached in 15 years! Since then, had baby girl #2 - endured total bed rest again - and with her HIGH ENERGY, SWEAT WRENCHING and FUN classes am back in my sexy ~ curvy ~ itty, bitty jeans!!
My experience with Rosie was been great! At our first meet, I already felt very comfortable with her. She asked about my health and physical background. She wanted to know if I had any prior injuries or health problems, so that she can modify my workout routine to my capacity. That really meant a lot to me. It showed me how much she cared to help me reach my fitness goals.She motivates me to do my best in each exercise routine. She makes sure that I am feeling well as we do our routine. Rosie demonstrates new exercises to me before I perform them. She is observant to ensure that I am in good posture; so I wont hurt myself. Rosie gives be motivation to push myself at each training session, because she believes in me.
Griffin is a great motivator for your workout! He takes the time to work with you on your form and technique. He is so enthusiastic that he makes the workouts fun and exciting. Kettlebell will improve your fitness, strength and health. Griffin will really kick your butt into shape! When I first started kettlebell, I was a bit a hesitant because I thought kettlebell training was for men and I thought it would include too much strength training for me. It was quite the opposite. The kettlebell is a great core and cardio workout. I have seen REAL results from this workout.
What I want from a trainer? Variety and Results! Push me hard but if you yell at me, I want to punch you. Sandi is like that tough coach that pushes you hard, but is still fun and respectful. I came to him looking for renewed motivation to work out and getting my rowing results better: Mission Accomplished! In fact, he did me one better, he is helping me develop a healthier attitude towards my body and my motivations to exercise and achieve set goals. Self disclaimer: I tend to guilt and push myself really hard to get things done in a short amount of time. Then I chiiilll (gain weight) when I don't have a "dead line." Impending visits from friends or Vegas pool parties are what keep me hitting the gym/ dieting hard and inconsistently. Subsequently, the fear of looking unfortunate on a beach has made me really hard on myself. But in the months I've worked with Sandi, he has built a relationship with me that allowed him to call me out on all the negative self talk. Remaining professional and non judgmental, while encouraging me to explore my motivations, takes his status as trainer to a new level of effective. Its been very empowering the compassionate and frank discussions he has had with me about my body image. Besides the moral support, Sandi is knowledgeable about physiology, nutrition, offers variety in each work out, and has been very flexible with scheduling. I always look forward to our workouts! In terms of my fitness level walking in the door: I am doing crew for 16 years and was active most of my life. Not rowing for couple years resulted in a 30lb weight gain that I lost 2 years ago. Sani has helped me keep it off and keep my workouts fresh! I highly recommend Sandi as a trainer to both men and women! Happy Hunting! p.s. Hiring a trainer isn't just a luxury for the sake of vanity, its an investment in your physical and mental health. Plus its great to have someone knowledgable to shake up old workout routines!
I'm pretty fit, usually feel strong and capable of anything...out of nowhere I tweaked my back and could barely move. Scary and debilitating! My PPO insurance listed Amy at the top of the suggested list and at the advice of my primary physician I reluctantly tried acupuncture for the first time. Amazing! 12 hours later, after cupping and gentle needles I felt healed! What a relief! (btw, I was fearful of the needles but it wasn't painful or stressful at all!) Amy is a miracle worker, she is someone who clearly cares about her patients and their well-being. Most services seem clinical and you feel like a number. Amy invited me into her home office, communicated with me and really listened to my pain and symptoms. She spent additional time with me and followed up the next day to check on my progress. I feel incredibly grateful that I found Amy listed and was able to slide into a same-day appointment. I'm following the stretches and advice she gave me and will become a repeat customer. Highly recommend; she not only helped me but she also taught me ways to stretch, gave me a daily mantra & I'm now more aware of my body and how to care for it than ever before.

As a result of many years as an athleteand frequent laptop computer userI suffer from knee, upper & lower back, wrist, and shoulder pain. I enlisted Leeann (LC) for help after having known her for quite some time, outside of the therapeutic/professional arena. I found her to be a kind and genuine person. LC, presented me with poses and stretches that I could complete on my ownwith or without props. Leeann is the most loving, gentle, and compassionate teacher I have ever known. She has the innate ability to sense where one requires assistancephysically and mentallywhile acknowledging that "you are perfect the way you are." Rather than forcing a person to adjust, she guides you to help yourself, after all, she is not always going to be there. She presented the regimen in a concise and straightforward manner. Physical therapy can be daunting, however, LC's approach makes it very approachable, for even the most inflexible of middle-aged men. Personally, I would have preferred the session to last all day. With her loving hands and heart, I trust LC wholeheartedly and recommend her services to anyoneof any age or degree of health.
As a 66 year old health coach, I'm doing well in life. But some times a second opinion is needed when things just aren't fixing as they usually do. Anne know so much more than I do about nutrition and how it all works. The result has been an increased overall general health. I used to go and visit my chiro friend for tune ups of the structure. Since getting Anne's help, I find those visits have not been needed! I still strongly believe in chiropractic help but just haven't needed it. My wife has also gotten great results with some long term body issues.
