I've been working with Jan for over a year and a half and she has helped me immensely in progressing in my music career. She is truly a professional songwriter, voice coach, and producer. She also teaches classes in Acting for Singers which I have taken. She creates a fun and supportive atmosphere in her private lessons as well as her classes which makes attending them truly enjoyable. She always focuses in on what I need to learn and does it in a very positive way. Anyone who wants to develop as a singer would be really lucky to have the opportunity to study under her and to have her guidance.

Wow! One session already with him and I was truly enlightened! His tools are methodical and easy to apply. He's quite intuitive and will tune into your nature to allow you freedom to explore. He renders a promising support of your choices and offers an honest view of clarity for other ways. Unlike my previous brutal acting classes, this one on one may just work for me.

Joanne has played a significant role in the development of my daughter's acting career. Her first experience was being cast in a theater production in Hollywood under Joanne's direction at the age of 5. Since that time, my daughter has performed in multiple theater shows, attended private acting classes, workshops, and online sessions (through Skype) for audition preparation with Joanne. My daughter is now 12 years old and has just been offered a main supporting role in a movie that will begin filming in early 2017. Joanne is an integral part of the fun, exciting, emotional, and exhausting road that has led us to this juncture. I highly recommend Joanne to work with your aspiring actor or actress!

During the time of operation of Let The Kids Grow Los Angeles, California 2013-2014. I had the privilege of working with and managing Mrs. Tracy Pfau, she was our head Acting instructor. She had the tasks and duties of working with underprivileged children of the community to help them stay off the streets and into the classrooms. She was able to work with children that possessed some knowledge of acting to complete beginners. She was professional and always uplifting to the children and respected them in a professional and caring manner as if they were her own. She not only taught them the basics fundamentals of acting but she showed them the professionalism and seriousness of the business surrounding a acting career. The ages of the children ranged from 4-17. As this was a after school program she would always be ready with a lesson plan and would not mind helping after hours if needed. I have learned that to be a great instructor you need to first have a great heart and a seriousness to the profession, and Mrs. Pfau is the total package as she is a great instructor and a great mentor and even after the program finished she was still willing to work with the children on a personal basis to really help these children accomplish their goals in the acting profession. I would be more than happy to recommend Mrs. Pfau in any future projects as I do not recommend people unless I really believe in them.

Working with Fabiana Medici was an experience I will always cherish. We taught an acting class together and I saw first hand how she is able to engage actors with her creativity, warmth and knowledge. She is wonderful working with children. She is kind, supportive and extremely professional. Her extensive experience, understanding of acting and passion for the craft (and life) leave a lasting impression on anyone fortunate enough to study with her.

I contacted Carolyn because I was looking for extra support in a Shakespeare monologue course at a professional acting studio in New York. I had been away from that type of material for some time but Carolyn helped me jump right in and gave me an extra edge when it came to performing my homework with the analysis and character study exercises she taught me which she had learned from Juilliard! I feel extremely lucky to have the chance to study with an actor of her caliber and particularly found the biz coaching portion of our sessions invaluable. She answered every single question I had (and there were many!) so thoughtfully and without judgement that I know feel armed to make important career decisions as a beginner actor.

I’m an Italian translator and conference interpreter. I moved to Los Angeles in April 2015 and I was hoping to find a valid voice coach to improve my spoken English and consequently my job opportunities. Research was a bit hard at first. Many factors came into play. Then I was lucky enough to meet the delightful Tracy Pfau. I can honestly say working with Tracy was one of the best things that happened to me in my stay in LA. Tracy is a consummate professional. She gives it all for her students. First she made sure I felt comfortable in my learning environment. Which made me understand immediately how much she cared about her profession. She was always punctual. She went the extra mile to provide me with material to study and work on, even bringing extra work home herself sometimes. She was extremely patient, she would always grant me some extra minutes to make sure I had understood all the notions. She taught me things I will remember for life and I had been waiting for so long to learn. Tracy Pfau is a passionate, competent and versatile professional. And she’s a pleasure to interact with as a person. If you are looking for an accent/dialect reduction trainer, I highly recommend that you call her. You won't regret that :)

I have known Mr. Pestle for several years. He is extremely passionate about teaching, theater, acting, and writing—this shows in every aspect of his work, especially his theater productions and English classes. His encouragement, enthusiasm, and humor make him an excellent mentor. I have enjoyed learning from Mr. Pestle through discussion of literature and art! He is honest, and very easy to talk to. Mr. Pestle is awesome. I would absolutely recommend him.

I did audition prep classes with shakara for 4 months here in London, she was brilliant, really creative eye. Only negative is she had to reschedule a few lessons for auditions of her own, etc... which is fair enough, but it was always quite short notice. Other than that she was brilliant, such a lovely mentor x

I took Sean’s Comedy/Improv class at Studio 4 and he’s truly been the best teacher/mentor I’ve ever had. I can honestly say with the skills I learned in his class really helped me with everything else I’ve done since, to my screenwriting class and even my Production class. I had given up acting a couple years back because of a traumatic imcident that happened to me at a show I was having, I completely froze in front of a room full of people. I seriously thought I was done with acting. But when I saw Sean’s class I decided to give it one more try, and I’m so glad I did. Because I wouldn't be where I’m at today if I hadn’t. In his class I also started writing again and now I’ve written and filmed and acted in a Short film, and currently working on the next one. He will never give up on you, and he’ll always be your biggest fan :) Myra Legaspe

Working with Monique was the best. She's extremely encouraging, while not shying away from giving constructive feedback to help me grow as a voice actor. She is very thorough, not only with teaching acting skills, but also with going over how the business works. This included what do to during auditions, how video resumes should look, creating a vision for the future, and owning your talent! I've put off becoming a voice actor for years, not even getting into a class. But Monique taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to, and if I believe that I can make a career out of voice acting, then it'll happen. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

I have been in an acting conservatory for 2 years and that gave me an ok starting point regarding how I approach characters and breakdown scenes. The very first session I had with Dominic, he gave me that golden piece of information that I was looking for. Now, that technique he taught me is what I use everytime I approach a character or breakdown scenes, and I must say I have never been more grounded or in the moment with my acting. He knows his shit and has worked with the biggest actors and directors in Hollywood. He is the best acting teacher I have.

Awesome place for kids to learn and master the art of music... My daughter took guitar, piano and voice lessons... Unfortunately we had to move and she can no longer attend... I wish they would open a location near Riverside so my daughter could continue with her art education... If you're looking for professional and affordable music classes for your kids then Piano Place Music and Arts Center is the right place for them. I am happy that my daughter had the opportunity to be a student at this family owned music school and I hope she can come back in the near future..... Beautiful family and very nice/professional teachers!
