FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have developed 3 different contracts that I can work under with clients. There is a day contract priced at $250/day, an hourly contract at $40/hour, and a project contract which is determined on a project-by-project basis. Day Contract: $250/day If you request this service, I will set aside one day out of the week to focus on your service solely. If the day requested is more than 5 days away, no additional charge will be charged, however, if the project turnaround is less than 5 days, an additional $100 will be charged to accommodate your project into my schedule. This would be great for clients that have short projects, have a desired idea of their project with examples of work, or have revisions that can take more than 6 hours from a previous project. Hourly Contract: 40$ (Minimum of 3 hours for service) Great for smaller projects that may not require more than 4 hours or revisions for projects that have been completed but may only need a few more hours of work to touch up. Project Pricing: ??? Who is this best for? This service is best for individuals who want their projects to be everything they want! This contract also comes with unlimited revisions. Due to the flexibility of this contract, the price is set on a project-by-project basis and will be determined after a 30-minute consultation. Generally, these contracts can be pricier due to the time density and specificity of the project to ensure complete satisfaction. Revision Policy For both hourly and day contracts, after each project is completed and sent back to you. After watching the project, you of course may want certain revisions. For these 2 contracts, both come with 30 minutes free of revision time. Anything that crosses this threshold will involve charges of my hourly rate set at $40/hour. However, I will notify the client before crossing the 30 minutes of what was able to be done with the revision time and if they would like to proceed into an hourly contract or a day contract to complete the revisions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, I would like to start by receiving as much information about the project by getting on a call if possible, and if not, messaging through the website works as well! After I get a better idea of the project, I offer my proposal and once everything is agreed upon, collect the deposit. Then create a link in order to receive all the assets(photos, videos.etc) and begin working on the project. Halfway through, I'll send a rough draft in order to ensure the client likes the direction of the project. Then a final version, revise it to clients wants, and finally send the completed version once the last portion of the balance is paid.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been video editing for more than 4 years. The main programs I utilize come from the Adobe Creative Suite which includes Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects for video creation. Lightroom and Photoshop are used for photo editing. Besides those, I also use Davinci Resolve for its amazing color grading software.
