Express Yourself with Music
Introduction: I customize my lessons for each student. Especially since there's nothing better than singing and/or playing your favorite songs, I encourage my students to chose the songs they want to work on. Many of my students are songwriters, so I help them with arrangements or perhaps to develop an idea. I really aim to encourage my students to explore and express what music and sound quality feels genuine and unique to them.
I love teaching music - I love talking about music, and I love watching my student's eyes and spirits light up when they 'get it' and when they can 'feel it.'

Weslie is amazing! As a composer/pianist for instrumental music, she has a way of bringing out the inner songwriter and lyricist that I didn't know I had! She really brings out the best in students abilities. In addition, she's responsible, flexible and has a relaxed teaching style that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I am starting to produce electronic music, and I came to Weslie for singing lessons so that I would have the confidence to sing on my tracks myself. I have had one lesson with her so far and I really enjoyed it. She started by asking me some questions to assess what my goals were and what my experience was. While I play piano and produce music, I've never had any formal singing training, so she walked through all the vocal exercises and breathing drills step by step, explaining why each step was important for creating the best sound. Weslie is incredibly knowledgable and patient, with the perfect dose of encouragement. I look forward to working with Weslie on developing my instrument and personal style!

Amazing makes you wanna sing more and more. If you wanna discover your voice she is the best to bring it out of you. She is always positive, which makes it so much easier to break out of your shell. Thank you, Weslie for all your help!
