Evan is the best trainer I've had, and I've been through a few. He is a master at designing workouts that are effective, stay interesting, and challenge me just enough to help me move to the next level. He meet his clients where they are, including overweight doubters with weak joints like me. I was out of shape, wary of exercise, and convinced I was too old and broken down to benefit from a real physical fitness regimen. One year later, I'm amazed at the strength and agility I've gained, and I definitely don't mind that I've dropped a couple of clothing sizes, too! I still have a lot of work ahead of me to reach my weight and exercise goals, but now I actually know they are attainable. Between his workouts and extensive nutrition information, he's given me whole new perspective of health and fitness. Regardless of whatever condition you're in at the moment, I feel confident that Evan can help you reach new goals. I can't recommend Evan highly enough.

I've been working out with John for over 3 years, and he has transformed my body. He helped me lose about 13 pounds before my wedding. He's more than just a personal trainer - he's a life and health coach as well. I know if I have any questions about health or what I should be eating, I can always send him a note, and he'll respond. Every workout we do is always different. He keeps things interesting, and I always leave feeling good/sore. John is the best!

I have absolutely loved partnering with Sara at Wellspace. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune illness last year I had a lot of baggage to unpack around my new & scary (but necessary!) diet/lifestyle. Sara was an integral piece in my healing process. I've worked with Justin from the Kula Team for personal training for the past six months. The dedication and passion he has for health and fitness is evident. From day one he works with you on a plan to achieve your goals. He incorporates fitness, diet and recovery into his plans to make sure you get results! He continually changes up the fitness routines to make sure your fitness levels keep improving. Each month we set a focus, a goal and reflect on the past month. Ive seen trainers in the past who very passively watch their clients. Justin is very involved making sure you have proper form and are being challenged. His feedback is effective and well-researched. When I had some issues with shoulder tightness I came in the next day and he was ready with some stretches and techniques to help target that! The Kula Team also has an amazing meal prep plan to get you started or to help you continue on the right path to health. Their bowls and snacks are tasty, varied and affordable! I highly recommend checking out Kula Wellness!

Hiring Gretchen was one of the best moves I made for losing weight. I had spent many years crash dieting, eating low calorie diets in an attempt to lose weight, only to gain it back quickly and pack even more pounds. She quickly detailed a meal plan for me to adhere to that was nutritious and filling, also giving me details on how to deal with eating at restaurants. Yes, it will be work on your end to measure and cook, but it's made my life easier not having to think about what I need to eat. My main battle with eating has always been mental and Gretchen really was there to coach me through my toughest moments of where I just wanted to give up ( Meal planning through the holidays was tough!) The weekly checkins were what I needed to get through this process knowing that I had someone that I had to report to (Makes me less tempted to eat unhealthy.) If you need a coach that will help set up a healthy sustainable lifestyle for you, I recommend Gretchen.

I was down on my luck and was pretty discouraged a few months ago before meeting Dr. Colgin. I did everything I felt like I was supposed to do to look and feel better. I lost 30 lbs for my wedding but then have started gaining some of it back again after changing jobs and relocating. I had a visit with my PCP, explaining to her my energy level was low but I’ve kept myself on a pretty strict diet and exercise regimen. She was pretty understanding and ordered some labs suspecting it may be either my thyroid levels and/or mental health issue. With all that was said and done, my cholesterol level was high and all my doctor told me was to watch what I eat and consider being more active. I was livid. I sought a 2nd opinion and found Dr. Colgin on Yelp and decided to give it a try. My main objective was to feel and sleep better. After meeting with Dr. Colgin and getting a comprehensive lab test done, he insisted there was nothing wrong with me. We decided together that the 4-week detox/cleanse program combined with some homeopathic drops and supplements will get me back on track. Four weeks later, here I am feeling great! I am sleeping through the entire night and not feeling as tired at all during the work day. I no longer require morning coffee. Overall throughout this entire process, I learned a lot about my body and its relationship with food. I am more mindful and I look forward to keep at it. An added plus – Dr. Colgin always made himself available to answer any questions and offer words of motivation when needed. Thanks so much for everything Dr. Colgin!

I have couple months training with Armando and I totally believe I made the right decision. During the last 5 years I’ve been putting up some weight and no feeling too proud about it, especially because I’m short and weight started to cause some foot and knee pain. I’ve always postponed work out, it was not my priority but after training with Armando, I feel like I need to go for a session every day so I can get my “Feeling good” dose. Armando’s positivism makes my work out enjoyable even though he pushes me and takes all my energy with every exercise. Armando has motivated me to keep going and give 100% every time we meet. He is professional, he listens, analyzes every piece of information I give him and he even suggests a relax/stretch session to get rid of stress I bring from work. When I first started, he analyzed my measurements, goals, posture, time and health and came up with a plan to target my problematic areas. I have only couple months training and I can see a few changes already. I feel more energetic and with the desire of keep going. Armando makes sure I have the right posture/form and execute moves in a proper way so that I can get the best from my workout and benefit from every move. I thank Armando for his support and guidance in every session and especially for pushing to keep a good nutrition. I would recommend Armando if you are serious about your work out. He is a great trainer; you will get the best of his knowledge and enthusiasm in every session.

I felt at ease with Judy from the moment I met her. She always has a smile on her face and really takes the time to get to know you as she works with you. I was really struggling with some personal problems when I started working with Judy and I am truly a different person now a year later. It can often be scary to seek help or go talk to someone, but Judy made the experience a pleasant one and I highly recommend her if you're looking for a life coach. I did lots of research on personal fitness trainers in the south bay area. I found Ron’s website, researched his training program and emailed him in regards to more information. He returned the email promptly and within the week we were meeting and discussing my goals and starting my training sessions the next week. Ron provides a complete package that is easy to follow yet aggressive to the goals that you are wanting. I have been with him for 9-weeks now and he has exceeded my expectations in a trainer. He is there by your side correcting your techniques; assist when needed but never lets you gives up. Each session he challenges you and provides positive reinforcements to keep you motivated. I am moving forward meeting my goals and Ron has helped provide me with that. Great trainer, very knowledgeable and a great mentor for getting yourself where you want to be physically and mentally. I would recommend him to anyone no matter what stage of fitness you are. He has set a great foundation for my future goal. Can’t thank him enough. If you need to improve your health and fitness Ron is your guy.
