Dave patched up some drywall and replaced baseboard pieces that were damaged from a plumbing leak. He did an outstanding job and we would highly recommend his services. Also, he has great attention to detail and did an excellent job of cleaning up after himself.
Zenplace is at the top of property management business! I have worked with Zenplace for about a year now, and I cannot use any other adjective but excellent when reviewing their services. Zenplace has done a phenomenal job in taking care of my rental property. They are professional, clear, responsive, courteous, and punctual. I receive regular updates with monthly statements and activity, which helps me keep track of the current status and history. I personally am quite detail-oriented and I would like to be thorough. During our initial discussions, Zenplace's team took the necessary time to explain me the processes and procedures that Zenplace follows, and patiently answered all my questions. I also believe that when it comes to handing over the keys of your property to someone else, no one can afford to take chances to work with people whom they cannot trust. Being physically far away from my property made this even more important for me. My husband and I had been working with another property manager to rent out our condo in Sunnyvale. At the last minute, he dropped out a week before tenants were supposed to move in! Teri and Chris came to the rescue and had our applicants screened and ready to sign a lease within 24 hours. I feel like we're in great hands now! I would strongly recommend Carlos Valero as a property manager. Carlos has managed a fourplex which I purchased 2 years ago. When I purchased the building 3 of the units were vacant and in need of repair. One needed to be completely redone with new kitchen, bath, floors, windows, etc. Carlos arranged for the work to be done quickly and inexpensively. He found great tenants and has been managing the property ever since. He takes care of everything and his fees are quite reasonable. Carlos is responsible, accessible, resourceful and honest? I would highly recommend him as a property manager and contractor.
We interviewed many Property Managers before determining that Craig would be the best fit for our first rental property. He comes across as someone that a renter would be comfortable with but also someone that will look out for our best interest as the owners. Craig has first hand experience with building and fixing up homes and his internal network of vendors was great. All of these factors played a part in why we chose Craig but it was the renter that he found for us that is why he is someone I would recommend him. Our home is occupied by someone that it quiet, financially stable and has a great job. We don't worry about how our home is being cared for because we know that Craig is looking after it for us. We definitely would recommend meeting him and giving him an opportunity to manager your property.
Nik and his assistant are amazing. I called one day interested in an apartment in Berkeley, I went to a showing and someone else got it. Nik knew how bad I wanted the place so he put me on a list and contacted me the next week letting me know that in 30 days he would have another place in the same building. I know they have a ton of places but I wanted this one because its walking distance to Cal. Long story short these guys are really cool. Ive been living here for 2 years now and I have never had a problem.

What to say. Mike's company rented our house in 4 days and I get emailed statements and electronic rent. Over the last 12 months I didn't have to do anything - owning a rental is great, when you have people like REC taking care of every aspect for a reasonable fee. Being a startup owner and a father of 2 little girls, time is my most precious commodity. I am really thankful for all of the work REC does to keep our tenants and our bank account equally happy : ) Also, bay area appreciation has been great, I am glad we've decided to hold to the house upon having to move out for work.
