To streamline our communication, I want to share that my starting budget for wall murals is $2,000 for small, minimal designs. For larger projects, costs can exceed $30,000. If your project budget falls below this, I recommend connecting with another muralist, as Thumbtack currently doesn’t allow for minimum project cost filters.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a $2000 minimum. I require a 50% deposit upfront and a 50% when completed!
I price by the square foot dependent on the design aesthetic. For example, a wall with a more minimal design will be less expensive than a wall with a more complex design based on hours to complete. Depending on the size, surface (drywall, concrete, brick, wood), and environment (interior, exterior, surface of ground) of the mural will determine the amount of supplies and equipment that will be required.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional painter for 5 years and have worked with galleries across San Diego.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you’re new or aren’t sure how to convey your idea, please note, I am able to walk you through the steps and jot down exactly what you want in sketch form. Through discussing and taking time, you will be provided exactly what you need.
