Danielle L. says, "Wow, just wow! In all the best ways! Just before Christmas, my grandfather fell ill and was rushed to the hospital with a super aggressive cancer that took his life in only 5 days (this is relevant). When he got sick, he fell in the restroom and lost his dentures... we never found them before he was cremated.
We all took turns checking in on my Grandma, and noticed that the toilet kept clogging. We did all the basic things you can do yourself: plunging, chemicals, snaking, etc. We gave up doing it on our own and called for help.
Parker with Peacemaker Plumbing responded to our inquiry within minutes, we scheduled a time and date, he arrived on time, even a little early (a pleasant surprise mind you), with other plumbers there is an "arrival window." He was very punctual which helped considering it's the only bathroom in the house and we needed it working.
We told him what was going on with the bathroom and let him know that this is a sensitive time for our family. He understood, not only was he respectful about the situation, but he was delicate in the bathroom that my grandpa spent years making himself!
Parker tried everything that we did, to be thorough, in case we missed something. When that didn't resolve the issue, he went under the house into the crawl space to make sure none of the pipes were messed up. They were a little messy and installed with the same home-made love my grandpa did with everything else he built in the house, but the pipes were not the problem.
My grandparents had an older toilet from the 1950s, it was low to the ground and hard for my grandma to get up from. He asked if we could lift the toilet to see if there was an obstruction, he promised to be careful, and he was. It is a very small bathroom, so once it was lifted, he put it in the front yard on the grass so he could inspect the hole in the bathroom floor. The hole was not blocked and there appeared to be no issues with the pipes.
Instead of putting the old toilet back on, we ordered a slightly taller, senior-friendly toilet that Parker went and got the same day. Before picking it up, he was upfront and told us that the footprint of the old toilet was narrow and the old mounts wouldn't fit the new toilet.
We gave him the green light and he got everything he needed, but on his way to pick up his order, he stopped to inspect the toilet on the grass, guess what he found..... that's right, my grandpa's teeth in the base of the toilet on the front lawn!!! We laughed, we cried, and shared a moment of remembrance. Parker gave us space and handled everything with genuine compassion.
He installed the new parts, and everything worked great! My grandma now has a toilet she can rely on and we all feel easier knowing that she can get up better. To add to everything, Parker left the space clean, smelling good, and the price was reasonable and respectable. Parker handled the whole situation with the care you would expect from a friend or family member, he was on time, polite, professional, and was quick to respond to calls and texts. We will use his services again!
Thank you Parker!"See more
