Michael James home studio has been the best music program my daughter has ever attended and as musically talented kid she has had many instructors. Mr. James has a true passion for his work and is also very versatile working with his students on a unique and personal level so that music lessons can be a joy as they should be instead of a burdensome task. Outstanding!!!
Silo is absolutely a great guitar instructor. He is always willing to work with our busy schedule and is very flexible. Silo also is teaching my son about music theory, along with reading music and the basics of learning how to play. My son finds his instruction easy to follow. He is always enthusiastic to teach which is so refreshing and just what my son needs. My son is even now teaching his dad a little guitar. Keaton also entertained the whole family at Christmas with a few holiday tunes he learned. So grateful to such a hands on teacher. Silo is top notch, personable and professional guitar teacher. I would highly recommend and have everyone interested in learning guitar that he's the best.
Very professional. He is not only a great guitar player, but also a brilliant composer/arranger. This helps when you want to understand a bit more than just how to play a song. Unlike most people, this guy is dedicated to music and does it full time.
Mr Whitt provides a bounty of musical production skills. I have 1st-hand knowledge of his musical talent after having worked with him on numerous projects over the years. Recently, he has upgraded his production capabilities by creating a state-of-the-art recording studio. In addition to this landmark achievement, he also is a multi-instrumentalist with a number of top-notch musical instruments available for use on a recording project. To top it off, his studio is near the beautiful Kings Canyon area of California in a rural setting. Just the surroundings of the studio make artistic endeavors come more easily.
I am a long-time pro guitarist who believes that most other guitar teachers charge too much for too little. The going rate here is between $15-22 per half hour; my rate is $25 per hour. My basic package is 4 lessons for $100 to be taken within 4 weeks, paid in cash at the beginning of the first lesson, though larger packages may be purchased. A 24-hour notice is required to reschedule a lesson by the student. If I am unable to teach the lesson (which almost never occurs), the student has the option of rescheduling it or deducting $25 from the next package purchased. It is preferred that the student take their lessons on an acoustic guitar.
I am a passionate musician who loves teaching people of all ages. I am different than most instructors because I'm someone who actually cares about the student and what they gain from the music lessons. I believe music to be an indispensable tool to guide an individual towards a life full of enthusiasm, passion and positivity. Music, I believe, has the power to mold the student into a success-minded person in this world, which can be applied to all areas of life.

I am Judy Brunton and would love to extend to you my understanding of musical theory. The goal of my teaching will leave one with the equivalent of a minor in music, the ability to learn any song at will, and the opportunity to transcend and express timeless human emotion. I believe that playing music is a gateway to divinity and an absolute blessing to humanity. I look forward to meeting you.

What I do is very basic and very simple. I create a bond with a student, and I find out what kind of music they are really in to. I start with the basics of teaching my students the knowledge of their guitar, so not only will they be able to play it, but they will be able to service it. Then, I teach them basic chords, scales, and pentatonic scales. Then, I move on to teach them how to read and write tabs, and once they have learned their rhythm and picking skills, I can even teach them to convert chords to notes on a piano. I can teach them to convert their material from their guitar to a bass. I have a passion for music and opening eyes up to it. I love to teach, and I have a great teaching reputation. I simply charge $30.00 for a 90 minute lesson, and the first lesson is free so that I can get to know my student.
I am currently teaching guitar, bass guitar, and ukulele. Lessons range from: * Beginning - learn to read music notation and applying what you learn to the fretboard * Intermediate - learn chords, scales, and finger positions * Advanced - learn arpeggios, modes, fingerpicking styles, solo structure/riffs, etc. All lessons are done at California Keyboards in my music studio. Parents are invited to sit in and attend the class with their student, if they prefer.
