Jonathan got me into incredible shape. I was out of shape and chubby prior to seeing Jonathan. Now I'm lean, stronger, and at a healthy weight. Also, he is a great martial arts and Krav Maga coach. I've been training Krav classes elsewhere but not getting the results I wanted. Now my punches, kicks, maneuvers, and techniques are on point.
OJ is 1 of the best personal trainers I've ever come into contact with. For starters, your initial meeting is a workout created to personalize your strengths and weaknesses for future sessions. Afterwards, he speaks with you regarding your target goals, time frame, ideal weight etc. Meanwhile, he's compiling a special profile just for you in his computer. He sends weekly updates on your progress like: body fat percentage and weight loss/gain. In addition, he also sends motivational text messages during the week. He really is the most professional personal trainer I've ever encountered. I'm just 3 weeks into my training sessions and I'm already seeing results. Thanks OJ!
When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!
Donna is an amazing trainer. She really listens to my needs and helps me reach my goals. She knows when to push and when to ease up. She truly understands the human body, building muscle and increasing strength. She is very passionate about what she does and it shows. She checks on me outside of my training sessions to make sure I'm eating healthy and doing my cardio.
I have been training with Jobie for about 5 years. Great trainer!!! His knowledge of how the body is supposed to work, in my view is very important. I think that is why I do not get hurt while training. If I am doing something wrong he will correct my stance and or posture so I do not injure myself.
Ted is the best on private training and also is gifted with healing hands, which worked wonders for my wife. Will recommend him A+
Prior to joining the Fat Loss program, I was sick for a couple of months and when I got better, I chose to take action on how I could prevent getting that sick in the future. By that time, my sister had been training with Emile for amost a year and I noticed results not only physically, but with her health and mind. My sister suggested it and I took that opportunity to join. At first I wasn't getting it, but after proper coaching from Emile, I started to see results. I didn't notice my results until I heard from others about how I looked. My family, friends, coworkers would take notice. Then my clothes started getting too big for me. I continue to make progress and have lost more than I expected. Aside from joining the Fat Loss program, I also took on the training sessions with Emile to supplement the program and increase my results. I liked learning the new exercises each session and implemented them in my own gym sessions. I liked the progress so much that I proactively wanted to continue with my training sessions beyond the Fat Loss program duration. I went from having every other week sessions to once a week and now twice a week! Emile doesn't have one rule book for everyone. He encourages methods and lifestyle changes that suit each person he trains. I hear that when he speaks to me and others on foods, supplements, types of exercises, etc. Emile keeps great open communication with all clients on Facebook. He provides a wealth of information that promote not just the Fat Loss program, but things that will positively impact our well being. In addition to the information, he will always give you his words of wisdom for whatever is inspiring him that day. I appreciate Emile's professionalism, flexibility, and the level of respect he gives to me and other clients. I think the cost of his program and sessions are definitely well worth it! Manuk isn't an ordinary trainer. He pays close attention to your needs and goals and tailors the work out plan accordingly. I loved the different work out plans each and every time which helped me like working out. One of the main reasons Manuks training works for me is because he motivates and inspires me every time. The key for me was to stay consistent.
What started as a way to train for a Spartan race has become a game-changing part of my life now. I found Gabriel of Devine Physiques through Thumbtack back in November 2016, and the main thing I wanted to focus on was capability. I figured that body aesthetics would improve (and yo, they did), but what I wanted most of all was to be able to lift heavier loads, move faster, and increase my endurance. All of that is happening, and I've been getting better every week working with Gabriel. I love the variety and cycling of workouts that we go through. Each session is a solid workout, with Gabriel correcting your form and keeping you safe along the way. One cool thing we did was a workout entirely dedicated to learning the complete muscular anatomy of the body, and performing workouts that pinpoint each muscle and group. Aside from just being really informative, this kind of work helps you visualize and feel what you're supposed to be doing in the future. Needless to say, I crushed that first Spartan race and have signed up for several more since then. But while those races are fun, they meaning they once carried pales in comparison to what it feels like to live a healthier lifestyle, and change my body for the better. I'm not training for a race now, I'm training because that's who I am now. And with all of that said - I'm so grateful to have found Devine Physiques.
Sandy is not your typical trainer but shes a good one! She doesnt yell at you and push you until you cry. Rather she counts your reps, cracks a joke, or talks to you to make the session time pass quickly. She keeps things from getting stale by never doing the exact same exercises in consecutive meetings. Sandy knows so many exercise variations that she will adapt your training if you dont like a particular exercise or want to focus on improving one thing or another. She is also one of the few trainers that is willing to come to your house or a local park to train you. I highly recommend her. Shell get you into better shape if youre willing to put in the effort too.
I have been training with Meghan for the last 3+ months and have noticed a significant improvement in positioning, mobility and balanced strength ever since. Meghan is professional, attentive and focused on helping me achieve my fitness goals. Her programming changes every week to ensure I am engaging and activating muscles in ways that will improve strength as well as guarantees that I will never get bored. Amazing experience! Very professional. Starts off with a sit down consultation listening to your goals and concerns and customizes workouts and has exquisite one on one training sessions. Also gives homework (workout routines) the days you aren't training. Shares info on nutrition and is always checking in on you to see how things are going. His knowledge is very high, and he truly cares for his clients. I feel so much better and healthier, also very excited to workout, because it's customized for my goals and its because of Gil.

Lucas challenges you to try a bit harder, go a bit farther that you thought you could. Then, when you realize you actually did it, he pushes you yet farther. His training sessions are thorough, well organized, and great workouts.

Chris is a great trainer and really knows his stuff. For many people, it’s tough to take that leap and hire a personal trainer to get in shape. It’s especially tough if you haven’t done any weight training before. However, Chris will teach and work with you no matter what your abilities are. He’s funny and keeps the intensity at the right level to see results while still being able to enjoy it. After working out with Chris, I feel refreshed. I don’t feel overworked, exhausted, or too sore. I’d highly recommend Chris to anyone who wants to improve their health, body, and happiness.

We have been training with Shoshanna since March. My daughters and I have worked with trainers before however, it never stuck. Shoshanna has a way of keeping us motivated and encouraging us to stick with it. Shoshanna has specialized workouts for each of us and they have been extremely effective. We have not lost a ton of weight but, we are toned and we have lost inches. She is very good at what she does but, she will not take it easy on you. She will push you and you will have muscles hurt that you didn't even know you had but, I ALWAYS feel great after a workout with Shoshanna!! We are very lucky to have found her!!!
After searching/meeting other potential trainers, I came across Mike. Every week, I am excited to see how I will respond to his training and, so far, I am impressed. Mike loves what he does and you can "feel" that devotion everytime you step into the gym. His attitude is positively infectious. He will push you and have you believing you can move mountains...(by the way, if Mike says you can, you probably can!) He is flexible and patient. Yet, he somehow manages to train with loads of energy and genuine enthusiasm. All of this combined with tons of knowledge on strength training and conditioning, proper nutrition and various ways for a speedy recovery... Bottom line: I could not have asked for a better trainer.
