He listened to my concerns, quickly diagnosed the drain, gave a quote, completed the work, and even cleaned up the residue from the slow drain. He was professional, helpful, very considerate, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Many ways. Show up on time and after texting I am on the way…he is unreliable. Set first appointment at his convenience in the morning. it Texted in the morning about status and he had something come up and at his option delayed to 1:30pm. Came home from work to meet him (left late beciase was expecting him in The morning) got a few texts he was on his way (ultimately before he was on his way) and he no showed and texted late afternoon. Rescheduled and he continued to be unreliable as to arrivals time and did not text until hours after the supposed arrival time. So if you hire him do not expect him to arrive anytime close to when he says. We had him install a Nuvo water softener system to replace existing. I give him credit for saying he had not done one before but said he could do it (and it looked possible without changing the copper plumbing. He did the work but a compression fitting he used was damaged so it leaked. He came back to fix it with a new fitting and then it leaked (dropped) on the other side where it threads (he used Teflon tape). I explained it still leaked and he returned. I am uncertain what he did in the third trip as he was late and although I had come home when h said he would arrive he did not come at 1:00pm but after 4:00 pm (again late) so I had returned to work and was not present. He put plumbers putty on the outside (I had mentioned that he could rethread using plumbers putty (but in place or with Teflon tape- not on the outside) so to me the third repair looked more to just try and cover the fact it leaked as there is no reason to put plumbers putty on the outside of a fitting at all. So he wanted to get paid. I acknowledge he had spent a lot of time but that I was frustrated because it still leaked. his response was a threat to come take back his parts (leaving me with an emergency plumbing issue and taking me to collections). That made him untrustworthy to have on my property. I ended up paying him what he quoted reserving my rights and will need to get a plumber to fix it and tell me if Shawn did damage to my new water softener unit. It would have been more time and cost effective had I just paid more for a licensed plumber. I liked the fact that he came back to fix the problem. I did not like when he on the third time he came he tried to hide that the repair had not been done. I could deal with the late and no shows (although I did lose time a few times coming home unnecessarily) but I can not deal with someone who threaded damage rather than acknowledging that the repair was not completed successfully. When faced with being paid or having a bad review he offered to come back a 4th time to repair it correctly but after his threat to take his plumbing parts back (leaving open water lines and no water at the house) it is not worth trusting him to do the right thing and We will just take our loss.
