Introduction: The following is a syllabus for my teaching guitar method: * Use of scales in soloing starting with E minor aeolian * Continuing scales throughout the circle of fifths (adding song study as a reference of soloing) * Learning how to read music at the same time * Learning songs of the students' choice * Studying chord structure (a beginning to writing your own songs) * Learning more songs as an emphasis to studying chord structure * Getting a background in musical theory * Recording your first song on a Tascam 4 track digital recorder * Going home with a CD keepsake * Moving then to a 24-track with full-band backing (I will do that for you.) * Learning Pro Tools editing to shape your song or songs Bring it on.
