I absolutely recommend using Dj Charlie as your Wedding MC/DJ. For Ceremony, Reception Lighting and special effects. He is so easy to work with and does a great job at getting people up and dancing at the reception. I think the Dj is so important to a Wedding and Charlie added so much to our special day. He was such a First Class Professional guy. When we first met Dj Charlie he was professional and organized which inmediately made me interested in using him as our Dj, he was exactly what we asked for at our Wedding. So when it came time to start the planning process of our Wedding we contacted him many times and he was able to respond promptly. From Begining to end He was so amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better MC/DJ, so professional and yet seemed like a part of our family. Dj Charlie was fantastic. He was able to bring friends and family of all ages to the dancefloor He actually meets with you as a couple in advance to find out all about you and then ensures that everything in your Wedding on your Wedding day is just the way you want it. At the end of the night my guests were saying how great our dj was. We have referred all of our other friends to him who will be getting married in the near future. Mike catered the food for my wedding of 120 people. Him and his staff did an amazing job! They did a wonderful job setting up all the rented tables, chairs and linens etc. and anticipating our every needs; from cutting the cake, to serving champagne and water before glasses were empty. The whole staff was incredible. The food was amazing, and there was plenty to go around! I am so thankful to Mike and his staff for making my wedding amazing.

Valet parking, security, and clean up crew for wedding at private estate in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 27, 2015. Eddy personally handled my wedding needs with the utmost care and professionalism. He arrived the day before while the other vendors were setting up to inspect the estate, and also was present both during the Saturday wedding as well as Sunday clean up. I greatly appreciate his firm being able to provide/handle all my service needs. The valets promptly and courteously parked all my guests vehicles while serving as the front line in guarding against tourists from entering the estate. All the valets had uniforms on as well as the security guards arrived in a black suits with ties. Every guard did their job while courteously addressing all my guests. Finally, the clean up thoroughly cleaned the estate the next day with no damage. Eddy and his crew did everything they were supposed to do, and did so professionally, courteously, and promptly. Incidentally, one of my wedding guests used Eddy's service for his Malibu wedding in 2014, and was equally satisfied. The host/owner of the estate also enjoyed Eddy's service, and though I have not followed up, indicated he would use Eddy. Lastly, Eddy is a retired policeman. What this potentially means is that he has a way to chat up other police officers in case you need help managing police when you party or event may run a tad long into the evening or is too loud ;-)

Megan and her team were just what the doctor ordered for our wedding day. She was very thorough from the planning process to the execution. We hired her for our wedding floral and rental needs. Even though it was raining on our day, she still helped us troubleshoot a solution. Our ceremony and reception was Outdoors so production came to a halt once the rain started. The venue we had book did not have any indoor space available for a backup plan. We could not set up any tables or chairs due to the fact that they would be damaged in the rain. Luckily by the time she and her team unloaded the truck full of rentals the rain let up just enough to have a successful ceremony and reception. The flowers were designed just as we expected and was contracted.

Richard was fantastic! We needed a bartender for our small wedding and Richard was perfect fit. He was very easy to work with and above and beyond accommodating. We had a fairly simple bar with beer and wine only so instead of just standing around, he started helping to tidy up the whole venue. He even bussed some tables! We were so surprised and impressed. He was also very kind to our guests. We will definitely be hiring Richard again if we have another event.

We hired Marie and her team as day of coordinator for our wedding this past June in La Jolla, San Diego at the La Jolla Women's Club. Marie made our wedding day a complete breeze! You can tell she's been in the business a long time and had so many helpful suggestions and ideas. Her and her team were punctual, professional, and have all of the qualities to pull of a beautiful wedding. Our wedding was mostly DIY- we booked a venue, but brought in all of our own decor, linens, etc. Marie and her team arrived on time to set everything up beautifully, and they guided us from start to finish to make sure everything was exactly as we wished. Marie and her team went above and beyond "day of coordinator" as they attended our venue walkthrough with caterer and photographer, as well as our rehearsal to guide us! We are SO thankful we had Marie and her team with us on our wedding day.

Joanne and her team were amazing to work with. They're a newer company and ready to go above and beyond to make your day happen. She was responsive and thorough, which made wedding planning less stressful and fun! She gave my husband and I a lot of options and were able to work with our budget without compromising the things we wanted. She connected me with a local florist and videographer. Eventspell did awesome job coordinating my very very detailed wedding!! We had lots of surprises and set up for the event and EventSpell took care of the coordination. They spent extra time making sure all was well and the event was set up and all the way down to the clean up. The day would have been a lot more stressful, but Eventspell made sure all went well on our special day. My guest said it was the most beautiful, best wedding they have been to. Where to begin! Ruby was a savior during my wedding events and was able to offload so much of my stress and attend to all last minute details I was unable to do myself due to time constraints. I was able to trust and rely on her 100% and she did not let me down she knew exactly what I wanted and needed. Ruby made detailed timelines and checklists for all my events. She helped me plan and execute my wedding ceremony and it was perfect. She was able to offer me affordable vendors for photography, wedding dessert table that had a beautiful fruit and fondu, icecream popsicles/kulfi with customized labels passed out during our wedding that my guest raved about how delicious they were till today, decor for my wedding ceremony, and she was able to offer me multiple options for makeup and hair vendors for my wedding party. Overall ruby was amazing her attention to detail and her genuine kindness and sincerity was what made her so great at what she does. She went above and beyond for me and my events. She was my go to person for all my questions and was able to keep me calm and organized winding down to the events. I definitely recommend to booking her asap for all of your upcoming events. We are having a backyard wedding this weekend and needed a spa and garage door concealed with drapery. The owner of Infuse Designs, Luis, came over last night and put up the pipe and drapes and did the lighting and it looks AMAZING. I was worried about it and he far exceeded my expectations. Not only does he do fantastic work but he's just a really nice person. Highly recommend him for wedding drapery and lighting.

Shelby is absolutely incredible and I can’t imagine how my wedding day would have gone if it weren’t for her! From the weeks leading up to the wedding, to the actual day, she was always so communicative, receptive to my ideas, and just so reliable! My wedding didn’t start until 4pm and she was at the venue at 7am!!! Setting everything up and making sure everyone was on the same page for what needed to be done. Like every wedding day, there were random things that came up but she immediately stepped in and just made the entire day run so smoothly. I truly was stress-free and was able to enjoy my day because of all the work, effort, and love she put in to making my wedding special. I still feel so blessed by her help. Shelby is an amazing problem solver, and will go above and beyond to make sure you’re worry-free on your special day! She even went to the dry cleaners for my husband’s suit and got us coffee! Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner. How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

  • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
  • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
  • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
  • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

  • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
  • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
  • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
