Guitar lessons in Roseville California. My instructor was ready, on time, prepared, and clearly knew what he was talking about. Their prices are reasonable, and their studio is clean and well maintained. I think they are a good place to learn guitar.
Chris Lee has been teaching my 11 year old son since May 2011. Hes been instructing my son in the following areas: Electric guitar, Bass guitar, Harmonica, and Reading/writing music. Chris is very patient and keeps my son motivated. The lessons are exciting which keeps my son interested and yearning to learn more. This helps in my son practicing without it being a chore. Chris encourages his students to write their own music using the computer and lined note sheets. He also gives my son confidence in his musical aspirations. I feel that Chris methods of instruction have helped my son excel in the musical area. My son is ready to begin taking a Jr. College level Music Theory class because of Chris instruction.
David is a great teacher who isn't doing this for the money but to teach the art of music. He has stayed at my house twice as long as what I payed for and added no extra charge. He also gives a wide range of ways to relate his teachings. (IE. I take bass lessons but we commonly go to the piano to practice and drill) all in all David is a great teacher and highly recommended. Definite 5 stars.
I highly recommend Bob as a music teacher for beginners, folks who play for enjoyment and professional musicians. He enhances the student's experience by focusing on the music student wants to learn. At the same time he intertwines ear-training and music theory with technique. Bob is a great guitar and music teacher. He was my first guitar teacher. In later years mentored me on how to teach music.
We Love Jonathan!! My son Trever started with Piano lessons, and now learning drums, and Guitar!!!
The number of styles Ty can teach is unmatched. Ty's interpersonal skills make him a great person to see every week. I always look forward to my lessons. At my age, I need a good teacher to motivate me to learn. Ty is a master at tailoring the lesson to the students ability. He taught me several things that I needed to move to the next level. He can assess my weaknesses and and focus my attention where I need to improve. When my rudiments needed attention, Ty added challenging rudiments to my practice schedule. He always adjusted those rudiments to my abilities. When meter was my weak link, Ty added simple beats and clock sync exercises. Always, the challenges were at the right level to prevent frustration and encourage me to improve. I highly recommend Ty for drum lessons. Also, I have begun learning guitar. Again, Ty's ability to teach is proving him to be a good guitar teacher as well.
My son and daughter really enjoy Gavin and his approach to learning to play the guitar. He is very patient, kind and above all is interested in the kind of music the kids want to learn; this makes learning to play the guitar much more enjoyable! Gavin also puts on an awesome concert every year giving his students an opportunity to show what they've learned with actual back-up music by his band! He even records the event so you can have a copy of your childs performance! I would highly recommend Gavin for your younger children as well as older.
Rich Ayala has been the best guitar teacher my son has ever had. Rich has taught him more in two years than he learned in three years with other instructors. Rich has a way of letting the student learn the rudiments of the guitar while teaching music the student wants to play. We also like him on a personal basis.
I've always felt that most guitar teachers are somewhat one sided. My curriculum consists of both tablature reading and musical notation. Being very strict on not only what is played but the quality it is being played at. I strive for cleanliness in my own practicing and performing and expect nothing less from my students.
I am an extremely patient teacher, which I feel is a vital attribute in this profession. I also have experience in several genres of music, including classical, jazz, blues, and pop styles. And,I teach both standard notation and tablature.
Learn music reading, music theory, and bass guitar lessons by an experienced bass player. I have been a musician since 1965.
Hello! My name is Jesse Szabo, and I've been playing guitar for almost 10 years and professionally for 3 years. I use an extremely personalized approach to teaching that utilizes my students' strengths and weaknesses to round them out as a player. Whether it's theory, note reading, soloing, or just want to have fun learning your favorite song, we can do that. I'm excited to meet you and start learning! If you are learning on an electric guitar, all I ask is that you have some kind of amplifier at your residence because I cannot bring an extra. Other than that, I will determine what materials we need.
I have an MM in music. I teach all levels of guitar, bass (upright and electric) and all styles. I also teach beginning piano. I can teach you how to read, write, and improvise music.
I have taught guitar for a living since 2004. I teach both acoustic and electric styles, and I specialize in Rock, Country, Folk and Blues. In addition to guitar, I also play the piano, sing and write songs. I make records, and am a classical music fan! I charge $100 a month for private lessons. One private half-hour lesson a week for a total of four lessons a month. I currently teach at Fifth String Music in East Sacramento, but I am open to teaching privately out of my apartment in Midtown as well, for a reduced price. I also teach group lessons at the West Sacramento Community Center.
This is cheap guitar lessons for young kids or adults who are looking to get into guitar. I teach note reading, tabs, and other things that are more about the actual instrument, such as the wood, what woods are better, and how to fix your guitar, and change strings. I teach good beginner knowledge.
I've been playing for about 30 years, been in several bands, and led worship in a church for 4 years and just play for the love of it!
I've played blues guitar for 12 years and taught for three. I'm an intuitive teacher and I am good with kids. I normally teach beginning adults however.
I teach guitar and theory. I am self taught, and then schooled, so my approach fits a lot of aspiring guitarists who have struggled to learn the secrets. I play live quite often. I don't believe in "those who can't do, teach". If somebody can't do it, you don't want to learn from them. You only want to learn from competent players in the industry. Music and teaching are both forms of communication. A good teacher has to master both. I have authored five instructional books, which you can see at my website. And I have three CDs out which are all in the jazz-rock fusion vein. I'm currently working on two new books and a new CD. I was once a co-owner of a guitar school in Sacramento called "The Guitar Activity Center", where I learned most of my group teaching skills. Aside from my private instruction, I do a lot of clinics, workshops and teaching events. I currently do all my private teaching at Northridge Music, on Greenback near Sunrise.
My name is Michael Deneau, and I teach guitar. Since the age of five, I have been playing guitar. My professional credits has included writing, composing and recording music over the past 25 years. I have written adaptations of Willie Nelson as well as many other group projects. I specialize in teaching rock music, which also includes some history as a point of reference for my students. I am available for evening lessons. I live in East Sacramento. Students are either welcome to my location or I am willing to teach at your home if desired. Please call for an appointment scheduling.
I am a very advanced acoustic and electric guitar player (can also play bass guitar). I just graduated from Granite Bay High School this year. While at GB, I took a total of 3 guitar classes including one intermediate class and two advanced guitar classes, on top of that I played in the schools guitar show. I've been playing for more then 8 years and can teach you anything you want to know.
